Atlant-Soyuz (Cir. Mid-to-Late 1990's) Atlant-Soyuz formed in 1993 and operated scheduled and charter flights from Vnukovo (Moscow) to predominantly vacation spots across Europe & the Middle East. They also had a complement of An-12's flying cargo all around. Most AYZ FP's out there have the Il-86's, Il-76's, and Tu-154's covered, even if they are from more recent years. These FP's below cover the lesser-known subjects: The An-12's, an Il-18, and a Tu-134. All of these FP's are representative. Paints are in the works. Kirov Avia Enterprise (Cir. Mid-90's) Local Aeroflot squadron turned private entity in the early 90's. Flew Tu-134's on major PAX routes along with An-24's. The An-26's were mostly leased out to other operators like the United Nations. Many of Kirov's An-24's were leased to Air Mali SA. FP's are representative. Paints are in the works by myself and shaggy22. Vadim Schornikov did one of the Tu-134's years ago. My apologies it took this long to get some proper FP's together. Lotus Airways (Cir. Late-90's - Early 2000's) I think this is one of Sharjah's more nefarious airlines. Very little info is known about this airline. This is not the same Lotus that operated out of Egypt around this same time. I think the name was just painted on the plane and it was really operated by someone else. FP's are representative. Paint is done by shaggy22 and will be out shortly. Magadan Avia Leasing (Mid-90's to Early 2000's) Sometimes operated for SVGAL/North East Cargo out of the far-eastern Russian city of Magadan. Other times the aircraft were leased out to other freight forwarders/brokers. One Il-76 wore a dual set of reg's: One Iranian (EP-MKA) and its original Russian set (RA-76471). National Commuter Airlines (Late-90's - Early 2000's) Also a rather official, big title for a rather small outfit - this time out of Angola. This group faced all sorts of issues: Old/ratty planes, austere places to land, flying into and out of very fluid combat zones, and almost every governing body/civil aviation authority on their tail. Planes traded hands frequently or were re-reg'ed to throw off the fuzz. FP's are representative and the paints are done by shaggy22. Remex (Cir. Late-90's - Early 2000's) Getting my notes on this one - Hang on. X-D Alright - According to my sources, Remex flew cargo charters. Based out of Zhukovsky (Moscow), they operated all over flying Russian "goods" to "customers" in the Middle East and Africa. One Il-76 was leased from a company called "Ural." I'm not sure if this is the same Ural that we all know and love that's based out of SVX, but it's oddly coincidental. They also had a small fleet of Yak-42's and flew PAX charters/ACMI work for Bykovo-Avia. FP's are representative and the paints are being worked on by shaggy22 and myself. Showa Air - Sierra Leone(?) (Cir. Late 90's - Early 2000's) Another shady outfit that had a Sierra-Leone-ian reg'ed An-12 but flew a bunch out of the DRC. Their plane ended up over-shooting into the volcano-magma-covered runway at Goma and was written off. Paint was done by shaggy22 and FP's are representative. Skymasters Freight Services (Cir. Late-90's) Got one of Tradewinds' old CL-44D's and operated it into every crevice of Central Africa, flying who-knows-what. Was a casualty of an ammo dump going off by accident in FIH in 1999. Paint is done by shaggy22 and the FP's are representative.
