Thanks a lot for Delta fleet. So much appreciated. They replace a lot of some very old blurry paints. Is it possible, to get all those paints also for FSX/P3D? I had to manually convert all the FAIB paints.

Thanks a lot for Delta fleet. So much appreciated. They replace a lot of some very old blurry paints. Is it possible, to get all those paints also for FSX/P3D? I had to manually convert all the FAIB paints. Thanks for the kind words! For the time being, I am doing FS9 only paints. With my extremely busy lifestyle I simply lack the time (or the RAM) to work on the high definition paintkits or go through all the rigamarole of different lightmaps and alpha channels, so I have chosen the simple road of FS9 paints for the time being. Eventually I might go back through and release higher definition versions, but that is some time off if ever. Chris, thank you for these beautiful repaints, on page 4 I see a AAL 727-100, I cant find that repaint anywhere was it released or am I just getting old?? I am working on a final and complete version of the bare metal texture for all of my repaints. Much like Brian ( sierraair), I have had a long road deciding which bare metal texture looks good and which I actually want to stick with. Going further, I have also crafted my own custom paintkit for the AIA 727-200, which I am adapting to the 727-100 and that looks miles better than the original paintkit version. So as soon as I finish adapting those things to the -100, you can look forward to that paint.

As far as I know there was a legal issue over one or other airline paints on the MD11.

Hello all, After what I would consider to be three of the most hectic months of my life (house flooded, then I had to move twice, and then school finals after that), I have finally had a chance to do a little more painting. I'm back on my 80s kick and this time I actually have some paints that are ready for release in very short order. I completely redid my bare metal texture (again...) and I think* I am finally happy with it. I have also completed a brand new paintkit for the 727-100 and -200 that is much more detailed and accurate than the old Aardvark paintkit. Hopefully you will enjoy the fruits of my labor as I crank out some missing 727s. I'm hoping to fill some missing gaps and replace some older textures. *Subject to change, results may vary

Sometimes great minds think alike and release paints at the same time for the same airline ( mikeblaze). I still have to do the non-cargo door 100s as well as the 200s on these, but its been fun to say the least. Later down the line I'll probably do the two-tone Girard schemes and the Ultra variants.

Huge thanks to Brian ( sierraair) for providing the font on the registration for this one. Finding the precise fonts for those drives me batty. This is a sneak preview of several more of these late 60's and early 70's liveries that are in desperate need of some TLC on newer paint kits.

I accidentally forgot to include my contact info in the Continental and American 727 packages, so AVSIM rejected them. I found out I missed a variant of the American's anyway, so that works out. Reuploading today, alongside these that are now ready. Includes both passenger and QC variants.

Gotta say Chris, you're doing a monumental effort of recreating, in my opinion, the golden era of retro airliners - the 60s, 70s and 80s. I hope you can go on with this. I paint a lot myself, but it's the flyable aircraft, thus, no time for AI unfortunately. Anyway, looking forward to more goodies from you.
Cheers. Ted
