The first batch is now on AVSIM, and the links are up.

Thank you! Where are you thinking of going next? ABX? COAX? DALX? AALX?

Actually, you are exactly correct with that order.

Hi Chris,
Hope you are doing well. I was looking for the Continental 777 Peter Max paint you have. Just wondering if you released it. I did not see it up at AVSIM. Thanks for your time.
Regards, Rob

Did Horizon have Dash-8-300's or CRJ-200's? I cannot find any pics of them. They have nowadays Dash-8-400's and CRJ-700's.

Rob,
I have not released it yet, I'm still trying to determine if copyright law will allow me to release it. In the past, all representations that could be found of it prior to Continental's merge were taken down because Peter Max claimed a copyright on the work, IIRC. Now that Continental is no more, I'm working to determine if that still applies.
Christian,
Hm. That's weird. UT certainly lists them on the schedule, though I will have to check later to see if maybe the CRJ's are being confused with the Fokker jets they had.
Thanks, Chris

I'd treat the Continental aircraft like we do anything else. You are releasing a free texture for a free model - and you could also claim it is a "representation."

Using copyrighted brands isn't as easy as it may seem instantly. Lufthansa for example doesn't allow any sort of VA with their name or those of their affiliates and same goes for the Star Alliance logos.
They do use legal action in the case of discovering any sort of the above mentioned.
Therefore I'd really be cautious about such things, even if it is only to representate something.
Kind regards.

I've painted both COA and DLH liveries and never got a complaint.

Hi all, For a little bit now I've been cracking down on some 90's and early 2000's action. While installing the big airlines of the US, I came across one of my pet peeves: All of the American Airlines paints I could find were either really old, or the bare metal textures and logos used for them were incorrect and inconsistent, making the fleet appear very 'broken' at places like DFW, JFK and LAX where AA is prominent. The fix? As many would say, if you don't like it, do it yourself, so I did. This is the 90's fleet, minus the DC-10's, as Jason has those done for the AIM model. I'd like to have the paintkit one day to apply my own personal bare metal texture to it, but for now what I have will suffice Will be uploading to AVSIM tomorrow morning. Enjoy!

Awesome family. Any chance for the early 90s members eg BAe146, 721, 732, 733 and 747SP? 😬 Kind regards. Stefan
