Finishing up something to upload tomorrow, Canadian Airlines mega-pack 747s and 767s (a lot of 767s....). I plan on doing the CDN 737s as well, but that is a lot more work than the 767s were, so within a couple of weeks. My next-up project is something for cgold, he knows what it is. Another mob of early 1990s 707 freighters for the traffic pattern. I will post links for the CDN stuff as it pops up on AVSIM.

Canadian and Air New Zealand are two of the largest 90s carriers missing many P3D paints. It is very appreciated.

I did the ANZ 742s awhile back, and I have found the FAIB 767s somewhere (I didn't paint them). I didn't do the 744s yet because I didn't feel comfortable to tackle the LOTR logojet, but I have a better feel for the paint kit now, so I might take a whack at it. I have actually started full-side masters for the CDN 737s, and at last count I have 14 individual schemes (hybrids for Eastern Provincial, Pacific Western, Atlantis, CP Air, America West, 4 variants of the 1987 scheme, and the list goes on...). I think this will get broken into a two-part release, just for sheer volume, I estimate close to thirty individual schemes and variants when the smoke clears. I will finish and release them all at once, though, no leaving everybody on the edge waiting for the second part. CDN really made a good run to be the 'other' big airline in Canada for about a decade.

Can’t wait for those Canadian 747 and 767 paints, even more replacements for the aging AIA models! I also can’t remember if anyone did Canadian for the FAIB A320, is that also on the roadmap?

Yes, but just trying to sort out all the hybrids right now. Additionally, CDN had one random 733, it's an ex-SAS -3Y0 with a yellow/black stripe, I think it either belonged to Pacific Western or Eastern Provincial prior to CDN. I'm also doing a 6-pack of CPC 732s (including the Expo '86 logojet) and CPC's one 733 in full livery.

Okay, the final CDN 732 paint count will be 22 serials for 15 different schemes and hybrids, I'm releasing it in one 50MB package. If I missed a distinct hybrid, I will add it on as a supplement later on. If I truly missed a particular hybrid, I don't feel bad at all. There are four convertible model paints with gravel kit, and a lot of dirt here and there. You learn a lot doing this, I had no idea that CPC had a variation of the first CDN livery as CPC's final livery in 1987. BTW, the 733 lease was a MON aircraft, not SAS as I thought earlier (thanks, Stefan). The only issue with the CDN paints (1987 original scheme) is that I am compelled to color-match them to Charles' original release paint of the CDN DC-10, which has a little different shade of the dark blue and red. People may not agree with me, but the whole available fleet will match, and beta-test looks great on the flight line. If somebody has the moxie to do an FSX/P3D-native DC-10 model set, I will happily paint it for CDN and re-do appropriate parts of this paint run to match to the deeper, more proper shades. Jason did some CDN logojet DC-10s and late CPC DC-10s but they are in the proper shade and don't match Charles' un-replaceable paint. One of my few but true pet peeves in the hobby is painters who even if they disagree on colors, can't match up their work to others' to make the aircraft at least look similar on the flight line. I think KLM is long-suffering in this, among a couple of other airlines. Anyways, I will finish the A320 and 733 tonight, and release everything for a Tuesday morning availability. Four A320s and a single-stripe 733 in the grand scheme of what I have done so far should take about ten minutes, lol.

Mike, when you have time, make VARIG paintings. The Brazilians are grateful!

Mike, when you have time, make VARIG paintings. The Brazilians are grateful! This will come soon enough, probably late spring or summer. I technically am still moving west on my painting, currently finishing up the Middle East and starting Africa. I have stepped out and done a few things for North America, focusing on a few things that haven't appeared in the past for any AI traffic (like a unified CDN fleet and such). I think my CDN aircraft I use in the sim come from three or four different artist contributors, and don't match very well. But I still want to focus on my original agenda.

Just uploaded 49 CDN repaints to AVSIM and they are available: A320-200, 6 repaints library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=209347737-200, 22 repaints library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=209343737-300, 2 repaints library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=209344747-400, 7 repaints (includes one fantasy Easter Egg) library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=209345767-300, 12 repaints library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=209346This should well-cover CDN's fleet from 1987-2001 when they were absorbed into ACA. Remember what I said about color-matching to Charles' original CDN DC-10-30 repaint so that the 1987 scheme all matches. The later "Proud Wings" livery should be closer to what the real colors were. I did a bunch of one-off hybrids for various aircraft (CP Air, Monarch, Pacific Western, Eastern Provincial, Asiana, Air Atlantis, Britannia Airways), so some of those may show up later in their original fleet liveries. Have fun with it. Now on to Seagreen.....
