I uploaded a 2-variant ARG A342 package with the rest of them, but the file corrupted when it uploaded, I re-packaged it and uploaded this evening, so I will post the link here by the weekend.

Next up for FAIB 747s, UTA 747SP (ex-Luxair) and BAW Cargo 742F G-KILO, all done, will be uploaded in the next day or so.

In the workshop, AIC and PIA 742/743, the PIA will take a little longer for obvious reasons.

A comment on the BAW 744 World Tails.... I emailed the then-AI-Aardvark staffer who painted the original World Tails package for the AIA 744, to see if he would consent to let me use them for the FAIB models, but it is a dead email link, so I am assuming he is out of the hobby, and a copyright is a copyright. With the 742s, I hand-drew the Chelsea and Pathani tails by tracing over a blown-up photo. The Blomstarang and Blue Poole tails were photo-real manipulated from large-scale pix I found. I also hand-drew the Union Jack tail from scratch.

With the four-sided texture-mapping, it took two to three days per tail to get them done. There are 16 different BAW 744 World Tails, so the word of the day is patience.....

There are some phenomenal SVA paints on Juergen's website, but SVA actually had 70s and 80s variants of the green-tail livery, it's all in the lettering (cut vs. un-cut letters on the Saudia titles) and which side of the aircraft the Arabic titles are on. So, those will be coming down the road. Not forgetting ALK and BBC, I am working my way west around the classic 747 world with the odd stop in Europe or North America.

PAA N742PA is fixed and uploaded. I was worried that since I did so many paints for that package that more would be affected, but it was the 1985 experimental livery, so it was a one-off paint. The other thing I thought I missed I did not, so not to worry. I'm averaging about one big mistake for every 50 paints or so, so I can live with a 2% error rate, lol.

Regarding the MAS MD-11s (all of them), I came across a weird thing, the FSPX MD-11 main textures are named differently for the FSX and FS9 versions, I didn't catch that before, and it really messes things up. I am going to do a combined MAS/MASKargo update this weekend and fix everything.

Sorry about that, and I will make it good, since I have more MD-11s to paint (KLM, MPH, CAL, and a few others).

"N8815" in the Air France Cargo 747 package, was actually N18815 and used Pratt and Whitney engines, not General Electric. It also was changed to F-BPVO in 1982.
G-AWNI left service with BAW in 1981, and was subsequently never painted in the Landor colors, only the Negus colors. G-AWND was also destroyed in 1991, leaving no properly registered 747-136 for AI plans beyond 1991.

Stuff like this is where I don't feel too quite so bad about occasional mistakes, more or less:

AFR N18815, I will re-engine it to PW and fix the registration
BAW G-AWNI, I will change it to the Red Landor (Negus?) scheme
I will add another Landor serial (G-AWNA) to the update as a bonus, which flew 'til at least 1998

I hope the extra effort beyond the effort to get past history right will be appreciated, it's more than you get from some payware products.
