Here's some re-worked SWA 732s, I only put 14 on the screenshot rather than the 32 total, so you can see them better... a good collection of hybrids, Canyon Blue, and what I like to call baby-poop green and butterscotch... :{)

Here's some lost artifacts.... I painted and released the BAW set twelve years ago, and had the AFR side all ready to go, but for reasons unknown I never published them (sorry). Here is the full group, and there is something in my special folder to go with them for the 64-bit world. I am awaiting email permission, and then I can release them publicly. For the 32-bit die-hards, these can easily be converted back to bitmap, but that's on you to do. :{)

Jon Murchison gave his kind permission to publish the Concordes, so these will be moving out of the special folder into the main models folder, and getting re-packaged for AVSIM this week. I'm going to also add the BAC/Aerospatiale demonstrator livery, so there will be an even dozen paints for this package.
Also, I am putting the TCAI Tu-154 through its paces this week (both B and M). The B models are done (24 of them in two formats), and the M models (23 of them) will be done later this week. I will sort out all of the repaints next week and still make my end-of-September deadline to get these published.

I've been really quiet for the last few weeks, but not idle at all. There are some new converted models coming this weekend, and some new painting as well. JAL Group 767s, 1985-2004. I may or may not do the 1994 Disney logojet, still doing photo/decal research on that one. The JTA 763 is a best-guess, as they leased it from SWAL for two years (RZJets source), but I didn't find any pix of it anywhere. The 2003-schemed aircraft (Arc Sun tail) are the proper color now, the 747s I did were too yellow. I have plans to do version 2's of my first dozen or so FAIB 747 projects this fall, since I only did them in 2048, I will be doing HD updates. Lastly, the elusive IRA 741s that I thought I had painted but forgot about (twice) are painted now, EP-IAM in four different time periods, plus I fixed the 742/74S 1995 livery, the rego was in the wrong place. I will be putting some more fleet files in my G-drive this weekend also (like Iran Air, and some others). :{)

We'll start with paints this weekend. I just added 16 new airline groups into the G-drive, you can use the interface to sort by most recently modified, and you will find them at the top (or bottom), and there's at least 50 of my previously archived/uploaded files in there now. IRA got the first v2 HD 747s, all of my FAIB IRA 747s are HD now. The JAL Group 767s are in the JAL folder as well, since that's not a new folder, the sort won't pick it up.

The JTA 763 is a best-guess, as they leased it from SWAL for two years (RZJets source), but I didn't find any pix of it anywhere. I suspect it never got JTA colors, but stayed in JAL colors - possibly with a sticker. That's what it did earlier when it was with SWAL. It stayed in the old JAL red & black stripes livery with a small SWAL sticker on the left side underneath the stripes between the first two doors.

It stayed in the old JAL red & black stripes livery with a small SWAL sticker on the left side underneath the stripes between the first two doors. That would make sense, as it was sub-leased by SWAL to JTA, and that would make the painting a whole lot easier, lol. :{)

Am I mistaken or is there no old color stripe livery 767-346I (has no Kanji writing over door one left) version without the "Osaka Expo" sticker? Your plans sound awesome and a very big thank you all the converted models and paints. Kind regards.

Am I mistaken or is there no old color stripe livery 767-346I (has no Kanji writing over door one left) version without the "Osaka Expo" sticker? Your plans sound awesome and a very big thank you all the converted models and paints. Kind regards. This system of putting the files in the G-drive is starting to work (you all are catching on, lol). I didn't find any pictures of International 767s from the 1986-1987 time frame, and I just presumed that the first delivered aircraft went to the domestic routes, although there were Kanji-stickered aircraft at Kai Tak in 86-87 (I have pix of those). If they had non-Kanji 767s in the first couple of years I will add them, but I want the proof as usual. This will go into the edit pile right next to the JAL-leased/SWAL sub-leased JTA 763. JAL 747s: my first intent was to just replicate the serials I did in the original package so it would merely be a over-write of the original package (easier on flightplan editing). However, I really over-complicated the first batch, and should have never used the -200, since a lot of the 200s carried the big comm dome even into the 90s. So, the v2 -200s will all be based on the -100 model. I never did the -400s either, when I did that first run, so those will be addressed as well. Logojets: Quality sources are just not there for the HD paint kits, short of dropping $30 or more each for decal sheets for each aircraft, for a one-time paint. So, no Disney Express or other similar logojets from the time (sorry). Don't forget that a 1024 A.net image is 1/16 the size of a 4096 HD texture. I'm a repainter, not an artist, lol. I had the same issue with the Braathens 737s. :{)

I have finished the first part of the FAIB JAL 747 re-incarnation in full-on HD. I will show previews later, but for just the JAL 747-100/200/SR I have 66 serials total (not a mis-print), utilizing the 747-100 and 747-300 PW models, and this covers 1970-2005. I'm not even to the 300/400, or JAZ/JAA yet, I have to take a breath, lol. All of the previous schemes and variations from my FSX/FS9 paint run will be there, plus a few more. Other than the Aloha Express and Executive Express, no logojets in this batch, for the same reason as the Disney 767 (sorry). I do have nice high-res reference for the Re'socha and Super Resort Express aircraft, so those will be taken care of.

Here's just a little sample, JAA 1981-2005. This is an expanded paint run from my original and covers all JAA serials in the fleet from some point in time..... disregard the rego position issues with the 1989-1992 serials, they are already moved back to where they need to be. :{)

I just uploaded about 500MB of HD JAA/JAL early 747s to the drive, go get 'em. This includes JAA 741/2/3, and JAL 741/2/SR to include the SUDs. I am re-working my JAZ paints for the rest of the week, then I will go back and do the JAL 743/744.
