Thanks for the picture links, I found an earlier one from 2010 that I am using, and that serial will show up in the -700 package for COA. I'm not worried about the alternate nose, that was probably slapped on after a bird-strike to get the aircraft back to a better selection of spares, lol. I agree by location the aircraft was working for CMI, but CMI only has -800s listed on the RZJets roster (which is almost never wrong), must have been a loaner from the COA mother-ship. :{)

Not as much of a fan of the blue tulip myself, as I prefer battleship grey, but I would certainly still have that livery over the COA copypasta. I think everyone can agree that Saul Bass’ rainbow livery is one of the best airline liveries to ever exist though, that’s just a given. I actually found the tulip livery very refreshing and a little retro, after enduring that sterile, unimaginative grey they used in the 90s (the decade known as the death of the cheatline)... They can keep the battleship. :{)

Continental West, now THERE was something rare. Continental LITE itself was a hilarious failure(unsuspecting passengers were livid that their Continental flight they'd booked months out ends up being a no frills flight with no legroom), but even that lasted 1-2 years. I think Continental West branding was just around a few months, running some routes between places like SFO\LAX\LAS. Very cool!

Taking a short break from the 737s, here are the big twos and fours...... More AIA/AIG retired.... I was under the mis-impression that COA had -300s, but that took about a minute on A-net and RZjets to figure out.... :{)

Y’know, I thought they had -300s as well. Guess it must be that Mandela effect people have been talking about.

Waiting for a proper 731 model to do the PEX paints? I don’t blame you if that’s the case, still don’t understand why Erez never did one.

Finished South African, with help from eth72s. You guys can download it from this page. I did find one interesting addition to South African Cargo; according to the 1999\2000 OAG, from late 1998 to early 2000, Airworld of South Africa wet-leased a 727-200 in their full colors to South African Airways Cargo and it was operated on domestic flights between a few cities. I included it, as well as the Historic Flight fleet, of which a Ju-52 and 2 DC-3Cs and DC-4s were doing pleasure flights. Those aircraft were owned by SAA and flown by active SAA pilots. The DC-3 and DC-4, I think, were done by CalClassics but may not be on the modern models. No paint for the Ju-52 or Airworld 727 that I found.

John Young has done a Ju-52 AI model, I have it buried in my terabytes of file hoarding. His first models were all WWII warbirds, including armed/unarmed PBYs, and I have been considering doing some work with those since they soldiered on into the 80s/90s in a lot of remote island and bush-flying places, plus air tanker work. I see that Chris P. is cranking out a bunch of 70s material, very nice. :{)

Excuse me. Skyeurope is my heart. These are the first low-cost airlines in Central and Eastern Europe. In the states of the former Warsaw Pact. Do you know of anyone I can contact?
