DFZ was also eventually leased as EI-BWF to Philippine Airlines and subsequently bombed, landed, and repaired before going on to serve some other airlines before being parked at an airport where it sits to this day under Greek regs, and is awaiting disassembly or a possible brief return to service. That plane lead a very long and interesting life, and it’s a bit of a shame that Erez never modeled the -70A model. I much prefer the -70A cowling to the normal JT9D cowling that the 747s had, it’s a shame it didn’t catch on due to the excess weight.

Pan Am has always been on my radar, but I never found a great source for the typeface of the Clipper names. As a designer, I'm a hardass for correct fonts and logos so I decided to make it myself - especially since every Pan Am logo or font available on the internet isn't quite right for one reason or another (don't get me started on PanAm font. Ooff) In the end, the work will make additional paints easier in the future.
At the time, the 737s were based at Frankfurt for IGS and European services. As such, they were named after Berlin neighborhoods. Once they came back to the States, the got more Pan Am-esque names (Nightingale, Radiant, etc)

Rick, Robin and Jeremy - thank you all so much! I got out of the house a couple times this week and each time, I came home with caffeine!
Robin - shoot me a message here and we'll get something figured out. These colors just look good. Soon after, this aircraft was sold to JAL. Pan Am Cargo Boeing 747-200F

I do like some of the more obscure airlines. Photos are a bit harder to come by, but it makes it more fun to have it in FS. Alyemda Boeing 707-320C

Seems that there is a problem with the zip-File for the Alyemda 707 (the one for FS9). It cannot be opened and has only 24 KB ... the file for FS X works fine.

Scott - Thank you again, so much. I can't begin to express my appreciation for your support!I chuckle anytime someone asks me what I'm working on next, because more often than not, even I don't know. Sometimes it's because I like a livery, or because I want to spend some time in Illustrator making logos. This one surprised even me. Singapore Airlines Boeing 727-200

The last one leads perfectly into this one and also provides an interesting start for my dive into also painting and planning private aircraft. This former-Singapore bird was operated by Age of Enlightenment Aviation, the aviation arm of Transcendental Meditation movement and their leader Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The aircraft was mostly based in Switzerland. Flightplans available in the Su83 flightplan topic. Private Boeing 727-200 (9V-WGA)

Back in the saddle again and filling in another Canadian gap. This one would later be converted to a -73, but was still a standard -63 in 1983. It also shows another of the many different door configurations of the DC-8 stretch. This one seems to be the "Canadian" version - if you see a stretched DC-8 with the 3/4 door behind the wing, there's a very good chance it started life with Air Canada or CP Air. No extra credit for guessing where this one started. Crashed on approach to ACC in September 83, with sabotage suspected. That's a DAS logo on the tail, but I can't find what their connections were. RN Air Cargo Boeing 707-320F
