Finished Viscount Air Service, Tuscon is a good place to see them in your sim as the majority cycle thru their headquarters there once or twice a week to simulate crew/maintenance ferry flights. A lot of liveries here, some came out okay, some I made little errors on(namely the left side titles on some of the planes as I somehow didn't notice the error until I had deleted the photoshop files...whoops), but take it or leave it haha. A lot of hand painting as I had trouble finding many of the logos. Will be uploaded to Avsim as "viscount_air_service_1995.zip". Sports/VIP charters use the ramp, the Laughlin(IFP) casino charters and the aircraft doing public charter/scheduled Florida-Caribbean flying use gates for parking. These planes will really get around, they serve 96 airports in these plans! I have made a 1995ish ADEX file for decent freeware TUS scenery. It will be a busy place with Sun Pacific, Sierra Pacific, and Viscount Air Service(all based in TUS) charters all lining the other end of the cargo ramp behind the terminal. Here are the 737-200s.

Sun Pacific was another TUS-based charter carrier operating 727s from 1996-2001. I'd say these plans are more 1998ish as they include all 5 727s that I could find operated by the carrier. The 727-200s mostly did vacation charters from the YHM/PIT/JFK/EWR to PIE/MIA/FLL/CUN, as well as some IFP gambling charters on the US West Coast. The ex-Viscount Air Service 727-100 the company acquired was used by rock band U2 in their pop-up tour and simulates a portion of that tour in the US and Europe. A Sun Pacific 727-200 paint is out there(I have it don't remember from where) for those who want to get the bird flying, otherwise I will do a paint of the white livery and the 727-100 eventually. These plans simulate that flying, and the 727-200s all stop in TUS for a day or so once per week where they'll sit on the ramp. Better get some IFP scenery, the small airport is starting to fill up.

Sun Jet International was founded in 1993 operationally based in FLL to operate between airports in Florida and EWR. As the company expanded around 1995, Sun Jet grew to have 2 each of the DC-9-30, DC-9-50, and MD-81 and expanded their network to include flights from DFW to Florida and LGB to DFW as well as Casino charters to MYR and ACY. These plans simulate these flights, including 3 daily flights with DC-9-50s and an MD-80 to LGB, with the MD-80 overnighting. The tiny mid-90s LGB terminal is filling up fast! The paints are straight forward, I should be able to do them. Did one quick(aka crappy) paint tonight to get Sky Trek International up and running. I will upload the textures and plans to Avsim later as "sky_trek_international_1996". Plans/paints are good from 1996 until about 1999/2000, though my representative plans have an early fleet of just 4 727s flying around. I found more realistic info about Sky Trek and will re-do the previously posted plans a bit to reflect the carriers ops better. Namely, in 1996 charters from the East Coast to SXM and the West Coast to IFP were common. Nice to be slowly chipping away and populating the US skies bit by bit.

Sunbird Airways started up with a lone ex-Kiwi International 727-200 as an MCO-based leisure carrier taking pax on holiday from the East Coast("sunbird" flying). Or at least, I think they did. Having lost my copy of Deregulaton Knock Outs Round II, I can't verify the carrier actually started limited revenue flights and the limited information online gives mixed answers. All I know is the carrier was rarely photographed and had a 727 painted up sitting in MCO in 1995 and appears in my JP Fleets Book as well(yet no ICAO code/callsign listed). Since we have plenty of "sunbird" carriers in this era, I decided to have this one serve ISP and SWF in New York as these airports are neglected in our sims but did get sunbird charters. The 727 makes a late morning MCO-ISP-MCO turn and early evening MCO-SWF-MCO turn Sun-Fri, and on Saturday spends most of the day in MCO making one turn up to ISP where it sits for a few hours as well. I will complete the paint over the next few days along with a "sunbird" callsign if it is not out there.

Plans have already been compiled by Paul based on Grand Airways 1995 schedule, but they only include the DC-9s. As one of the members here(I think cgold?) had a Grand Airways metroliner painted, I made representative plans for the 3 metroliners in Grand Airways 1995 fleet. Each aircraft starts the day in LAS, GCN, or LAX and then flies a LAS-GCN-LAX route all day with an average ground time of about an hour so that hopefully they'll be seen. Tradewinds International Airlines, later just Tradewinds Airlines, was a GSO-based cargo carrier that was flying a single L-1011-300 and CL-44 in 1995. The L-1011 seems to have mostly flown the Pacific Rim while the Canadair zig-zagged Europe, and these plans reflect that. The L-1011 spends most of its Asia ground-time in Kai Tak on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. DWAI L-1011 paint is on Avsim, or you can be bold and use the HJG L-1011 like I do. Still need a CL-44. I also updated the Trans American Charter plans on page 2. According to the 95 JP Fleets Book, the DC-9-30 left the fleet and 3 Bae-146s joined so I added them doing charters based out of MDW. Still need paints for both aircraft. USA Jet is an ad-hoc, on-demand charter airline based in YIP. To this day, it has a vintage fleet of DC-9s, Falcon 20s, MD-80s, and a 727. In 1995, they had 5 DC-9s mostly doing flying to Texas, Mexico, and BFI but I plugged in plenty of other cities the jets are known to visit. You'll usually see at least one sitting around YIP with these plans. The AIA DC-9-10 paint is out there, not sure if an AIG paint is as of yet.

The AIA DC-9-10 paint is out there, not sure if an AIG paint is as of yet. Another one for LAS and GCN, Scenic Airlines.
Scenic Airlines has been doing sight seeing tours for decades, and until fairly recently was still flying a Ford Trimotor on Grand Canyon tours! Though in 1997, Scenic Airlines had a much larger and more varied fleet than included in these plans, these are the scheduled flights which were all operated by DHC-6 Twinotters out of LAS rather than VGT or other surrounding airports. Charter flights are not included. These plans should spice up LAS a bit, and are valid more or less from the late 80s to early 2000s as I think the same livery was current. Repaint can be found on Avsim as "modified_dhc-6s.zip" which includes the HTAI DHC-6 model and blank textures for Sight-seeing windows and a Skydiving config along with the Scenic textures.
Our mid-90s GCN is starting to fill up! I am also working on Air Nevada and Eagle Canyon Airlines which will add 402s and Fokker 27s respectively.
