Can anyone recommend a font for the boxy type letters & numbers that we often saw used for registrations back in the 50s and 60s?
Thanks for any help!

Eurostyle is often used. Just go to www.myfonts.com and browse their catalog - you can specify the size and wording of the "sample text" that's displayed Exit runway when able Christian

Thanks for your reply, Chris. Actually, when I went to this site and tried to follow my way to a sample of Eurostyle, I ended up with a sample of an entirely different font, not suitable for this purpose. Very possibly a simple case of user error. I *did* find a sample of Eurostyle later (but cost $30), and I agree that it's exactly what I wanted. Anyway, I did a bit more digging and found a place called simmerspaintshop.com which has a whole mess of fonts (free) that have great matches for most registrations. In case someone comes upon this thread with a similar need in the future, go to www.simmerspaintshop.com, go to downloads, then fonts, and finally look under "military." There are more at hans.presto.tripod.com/fonts/stencil5.htm. Hope this helps someone... ...Dave
