The kit is done I've also finished a repaint of N880EP ("Lisa Marie") which now sits across the street from Graceland. As you may know from previous posts, I'm building a representative schedule of Elvis' 1976 tour. Given that the concerts started at 20:30, does anybody have any idea as to when the aircraft would arrive at the closest airport? I'm currently shooting for early to mid-afternoon, but I'd sure appreciate if any of you Rock and Roll fans could confirm or infirm this. Thanks in advance Christian

Now thats an interesting piece of GA to see around in the 70s! A CV-880 paint kit also sounds like something that could come on handy alot!

I would imagine that the few instruments he played were all sound-checked by technicians, so his only pre-show activity would be at most a vocal sound check. My guess on something like that would mean 'Elvis is in the building" probably no more than two hours before show time to allow for that and getting dressed. His actual arrival in a town could have been at any time prior to that - even the night before. I do know that he was pretty intense on tour - moving fast from city to city for a few weeks, then back to Memphis for a couple of weeks, and then back out again. His schedule was one of many of the abuses he put his body through before it finally gave out in '77.

OK, so I'll make it from 15:00 to 16:00 to avoid the traffic.
