We've all noticed recently posts in the "requests" forum asking or announcing repaints that were already available but which the repainter stated he couldn't find on avsim or elsewhere.
This seems to happen on a more or less regular basis, which isn't surprising given the state of some of the comunity's file repositories' search engine.
To help put some order to this chaos, I have started this "mega-thread"where repainters can list their released repaints.
The posted info will contain airline, year, aircraft, which ai model it's for, which flightplan(s) it's used in and a link to the download (avsim or other) or an accurate and tested search phrase to locate the files.
DUPLICATES ARE OK - I just want people to avoid starting on a repaint just because they can't find it online!!
We only ask that:
1. the repaint has actually been released 2. there's a retroai pkg that uses it.
Thanks for your help
Exit runway when able
ps: if you can't find what you're looking for in this thread, you can always try the usual suspects (avsim, flightsim.com, etc...)

theflyingmobian: I think at this point the Qantas VH-OJC Formula 1 747 is the only remaining 747 yet to be painted in AI, but I don't think it has plans yet as that was active in 2000 to 2002.

jetstar: G-AWNA was painted up in incorrect BOAC colours when it was WFU, It was broken up in those colours in 1999. If you look closely, you can see the overpainted white where the BA titles were, and the tail is showing the speed stripe underneath the.. see part2

jetstar: Thin paint on the tail. They never did anything with the lower blue though. It was just homage to BOAC's original 747-136 when it was retired. Its a pity is was not preserved. Then again, BA would not pay to upkeep the 707 at Cosford, which was scrapped.
