Hi All.
To complete the repaints for BCAL 1987, I need a shed in Commuter colours and the Sabena 747-300 in the old blue colours.
Out of interest, the Sabena 747-300 (OO-SGC) was the only 747-300 that I flew on. I did the LGW-BRU trip a few times back then.

Oh, BTW a "shed" is a Shorts SD-330 ;D

shed is no problem, i have it about 50% done already... But now i have to make the blasted "Commuter" titles... gah! www.airliners.net/open.file/0069617/L/and it's actually Shorts SD3-30 not SD-330

I flew on a few of them in my time! Mainly Air Europe, and later on, the 360. For your info, only the prototype was called the 3-30. All production aircraft were called SD-330 and later just Shorts 330. The 360 has only been called SD-360 and later Shorts 360. Not sure where the first 3 came from, as the Skyvan was the SC-7. The 30 and 36 were the passengers carried. (should that have not been a 336 instead of a 360?). Anyway it was all marketing ;D Paul

I read somewhere that SD meant Skyvan Derivative,so Skyvan Derivative #3, 30 passengers makes sense for SD3-30 i guess, sort of maybe? But then again what was Derivative 2?

SD-2 possibly the Skyliner, which was an airliner version of the Skyvan used by BA and some others. Time for bed! Paul
