Glad you like the PK, Jason. As I've said, it's "basic" LOL. I.e. I did not darken the windshields in this version and the allignment of the engine pylon shadows don't fit on all pylons. If you have some improvements, I'd appreciate if you'd re-upload it.

Yeah Jason, I'm kind of biased but I do think the "golden tail" was the prettiest paint to ever fly.I just scored an OAG from 7-1-1975 on EBAY and was pleasantly surprised to see CO was still operating the B-720B that late.it really brings. back memories. Also on EBAY I just recieved some Western 707 and 720B checklists so I'm off to modify the CS 707 VC to try to fix the things CS neglected, so I can run those checklists like in the old days!

Very nice work, Jason! Of course, I am very partial to Bob Six's Continental Airlines (the Proud Bird with the Golden Tail) being from West Texas where they ruled the skies.
Would you please let us know when you upload this beauty to Avsim? It will be a nice addition to my fleet and flying the skies from Los Angeles to Houston! ;D

I have Western mostly done, but it's on the old system. I've thought about American - I've been using an FS2002 flyable model, but I think there should be a newer one done, as I have never been real happy with that older plane.

They had 4 whales N26861-N26864, and they wore the black meatball scheme exactly like your 707. I believe they were gone by 1974 Stan

They had 4 whales N26861-N26864, and they wore the black meatball scheme exactly like your 707. I believe they were gone by 1974 Stan You are correct, sir. There were four 747-124s built for Continental, N26821 being the first delivered in May of 1970. N26824 was the last delivered, joining the fleet in June of 1971 0 and christened the Robert F. Six. All of the original 747-124s were withdrawn from use in January, 1974. The 747 would not return to the CO fleet until 1987, with the merging of People Express into CO. A bit of trivia regarding the 747 operations during Bob Six's reign is that the producer of the film "Airport" happened to get unlucky enough to be aboard a CO 747 flight with when Six recognized him. The movie never sat well with those in the industry because of Dean Martin's reputation as an alcoholic. In reality, it was faked - Martin was never a big boozer, he just played that character. But the public thought him a drunk and many pilots and industry people did not like that character associated with them. Bob Six was among them and when he saw the producer on one of his flights, he didn't shy away from making a point. Bob Six was a pretty big guy - I have a photo of him with John Wayne, and Wayne looks like a wimp by comparison. Six grabbed the producer, hauled him up the stairs to the , opened the door, and barked "This is what real airplane pilots look like, not your g*******d rummies!" and then pushed him back through the 747's lounge. But then, what to expect from a guy who once owned a Jaguar - not the car, but the actual cat. There is some debate as to whether or not "Whiskey" was a Jaguar as Six claimed, or an Ocelot (actually, from the photos of him sitting on Six's desk at the ATC during World War II, I think he's a Serval), but he nevertheless he still had a wild cat as a pet. Owner of wild cats, drove a Ferrari Daytona around L.A. and was married to two famous actresses - Ethel Merman and Audrey Meadows - Bob Six was one hell of a colorful man.
