I’m going to have FS2024 for a modern air traffic setup and keep FS9 for all the retro stuff. There’s not so many DC-10s currently in service, and even less L1011s, so not a huge deal. Can FS9 models (the AIM DC-10s, for example) be converted to MSFS or FS2024? If they can, I may ask a certain someone for permission to do just that. All he can say is NO. Again.

Do you guys have this square looking thing in FS2004? I traced the edges in white for detail view. Is it normal everyone has that or is there a way to fix/get rid of it, something.

View AttachmentThis is the maximum draw distance radius in FS2004. Everything outside of that radius is a simple generic world model with no real textures or detail. Unfortunately, this cannot be changed, but it can be hidden by using visibility limits in FSUIPC (which is now a free download). This has the added benefit of giving the effect of atmospheric light scattering which FS2004 does not simulate.
