Aerosoft's LFPO scenery P3Dv4 compatibility

Hi, hope everyone is having a good day.
I'm using P3dv4 and slowly rebuilding my AI setup to the summer of 2004 season. I'm essentially flying out of Paris Orly and sometimes CDG, but the JetstreamDesigns LFPO scenery, although being of very good quality, does not represent what Orly looked and operated from the 1990's to the early/mid 2010's (new terminal extensions + brand new terminal built in 2017/2018, refurbished control tower etc...).

I don't have any talent regarding modelling or converting files, only painting liveries lol, so my question is this: does anyone know if Aerosoft's Mega Airport Paris Orly scenery for FSX (which was a very good representation of LFPO in the 2000's and even late 90's) could work in P3Dv4 or needs a bit of conversion work ? Especially for the ground textures etc.

I do not have that scenery but I have successfully used Mega Airport Helsinki for FSX in P3D v5. The only modification I had to do was modifying the AFCAD so that default assets (scenery objects, taxiway signs) do not bleed through the scenery, and otherwise works just fine. However, any AES features are unlikely to work.

Thank you for your response, first I'll see if I can successfully install the scenery and then see what appears correctly and what doesn't appears in the sim. Last question: what did you modify in the AFCAD to block the defaults objects to appear through the scenery ?

I use Airport Design Editor to delete the default scenery assets. Alternatively you can just rename or remove the default scenery file, though this has other implications such as nearby airports getting deleted as well.

I can describe the process for the former if you'd prefer, it doesn't take very long.

I'll try tweaking the AFCAD in ADE and see how it works first, thanks for the tips !
