Hello,
I'm looking for AIA DC-8-72 model and paint kit, are they still available somewhere? I have a few paints for it and some to paint, I searched for the model but all I could find is -71 and -73.
I know it's old along with FS2004 but will really appreciate if someone has it for a share or at least where it can be found.
I thought to ask here, I hope it was ok.

Jason: That file has the new AIA DC-9-10 and -30 models as well. I have the paintkits for those, if anyone is interested. One is a tad more complete than the other... Can't remember which one, at the moment.

How do those DC-9s compare to the AIG offering? There is only a AIA v2 Baby-9 and a -30 series but they are very nicely modeled. Pearson and I have painted some textures for those models. They are very comparable to the AIG family. Paintkits are relatively easy to use. |

Inside that "Yard" package is also a new tanker MD-87 model, with which existing textures can be used.
One has just to paint the alpha channel black to make the pod disappear.

funk: Is the new MD-87 “tanker” model any different from the original? If I paint that pod over in the alpha channel, I’d the new model noticeably different?

By the way guys, just another quick question regarding paint kit.
Does anyone here have any knowledge or anything regarding creating a layer (in photoshop or other) that can cast shadows on the paint? Like the colors become darker below the windows, engines, etc...
Because according to painting experience, usually it's the one mainly layer that could be the most effective one in a paint kit and make the paint look nice.
With your helps I could create one and also for the AIM DC-10-30 as we all know the paint kit is unavailable.
