Hey Christian -- I have your FS9 (unconverted) HS 748 running in my FSX sim, using the standard model (not the texturable or other one). The gear doors show 100% visible when retracted, however with gear extension they totally disappear. Any ideas what's wrong here? Fantastic model, btw...

Hello Alex, I don't have FSX, so you'll have to help me on this Does this issue happen with all repaints (including the ones I released)? What about if you run FSX in windowed vs full screen mode? Do the gear doors show up correctly in ModelConverterX? Does anyone else have this issue? Thanks for the appreciation and exit runway when able Christian

So -- I made a paint for a late 60s Austrian 748 of my own, and once I switched the model in the SIM to the PAINT KIT model, the gear doors now show when the aircraft is parked. I did not convert it from FS9 to FSX, since it behaves perfectly well as an FS9 model. I have not yet seen it in the air with gear retracted. My FSX paint is saved as a .dds DXT5 from photoshop using the NVIDIA dds tool with whatever Alpha settings were in the .psd paint kit, and with the respective models it looked fine in MCX -- main gear doors blank (as expected) with the model= model, and present and painted with the paint kit model. I will watch one (paint kit model) take off in the SIM to see what happens when the gear doors are closed and report back!

So -- in FSX, the FS9 PAINT KIT model appears correctly in the sim with gear and doors retracted inflight, and also when the gear/doors are extended. However, it's possible the doors are unpainted -- they are bare metal when open on the ground but appear slightly darker inflight when retracted -- barely noticeable.
