Hi All:
I am making my first custom traffic file for my fictional 1968 airline, PMS. I am using a Pan Am 1969 flightplan as the base and taking bits and pieces from a couple others. I am confused as to how the flight plan section should be formatted based on my particular situation. I have multiple tail numbers of each fleet type:
//707-320B
AC#1,484,"AI PMS 707-321C N780PN 1968"

In the original PA flight plan, after each AC# appears a tail number, which I assume the author randomly assigned -- since there was not originally an AC# assigned for what appears, in the end, to have accounted for the entire 1969 PA fleet -- with each routing having a different AC tail number:
// Pan American Boeing 707-023B
AC#1,N788PA,1%,WEEK,IFR,3/03:45,@3/07:45,320,F,6005,PHNL,3/09:45,@3/15:45,310,F,0826,KLAX,4/05:45,@4/09:59,340,F,0811,PHNL,4/11:15,@4/15:55,320,F,0875,PWAK,4/16:55,@4/21:05,340,F,0875,RJTT,4/22:30,@5/05:05,300,F,0875,VLVT,5/07:00,@5/11:30,290,F,0876,RJTT,5/12:45,@5/16:00,370,F,0801,PGUM,5/18:00,@6/01:30,300,F,0879,VLVT,6/04:30,@6/18:55,330,F,0880,PHNL,6/21:00,@0/03:00,370,F,0892,KPDX,0/03:30,@0/04:05,210,F,0892,KSEA,0/05:30,@0/07:45,320,F,0901,PAFA,0/08:59,@0/13:05,310,F,0902,KSEA,0/15:00,@0/15:35,200,F,0894,KPDX,0/18:15,@0/22:35,300,F,0891,PHNL,0/23:00,@1/04:50,330,F,0814,KSFO

So my question is, are tail numbers required for FSX (or the BGL compiler) to read through and correctly log each routing, or am I free to delete the tail number altogether? Essentially, I am using each AC#/Paint to complete one routing, and then moving to the next paint # for the subsequent routing.
Here is what I am doing:
