One of the greats did them, I thought... I was thinking Sheppard Avery or Nick Prestwich painted them. Peter Liddell maybe? Checked the wayback machine and the FP's were not on the old website. Or was this an APG fulfillment? funk or 777jafo: Did either one of you all get L’Express painted by Calleja back in the day?

And just like that, suddenly there were plans and paints. You contribute a lot, nice to do something for you. //L'Express 1991 L'Express (1989-1992) IATA: 4X ICAO: LEX CALLSIGN: LEX Express was a New Orleans (MSY) based commuter airline founded in 1989 which operated to most medium and large sized cities in it's home state of Louisiana and the surrounding area. The airline initially found success, and it's route network grew steadily while it added Beech 1900Cs and Beech C99s rapidly. A focus city was established in Baton Rouge (BTR) and the airline extended into Texas and Alabama. A hub at the Houston Hobby Airport (HOU) was opened in 1990. June 1991, which these flightplans represent, the route network was at it's peak with Longview (GGG), Mobile (MOB), and Birmingham (BHM) recently started. At the time, the airline was flying B1900Cs and 7 Beech C99s, 2 of which wore a red hybrid livery. The following month, one of the Beech C99s would crash on approach to BHM killing most on board and destroying a house on the ground injuring 4 people inside whilst trying to land in a severe thunderstorm. The airline had plans to expand to Dallas (DFW), Pensacola (PNS), Little Rock (LIT), and Jackson (JAN) in 1991, but expansion was halted when revenue dropped sharply after the neglegent crash. Most aircraft were returned to lessors or sold by the end of 1991, and the airline filed for bankruptcy and shut down entirely in Feburary of 1992. Some of the aircraft fly on today with cargo airlines like Ameriflight. Thank you kindly, chasensfo! How gratuitous after a long day at work! These will definitely add some color to the scene down in MSY and BTR.
