Here is my first attempt at painting. I started two months ago with some paints that are still to come, but during my painting time I started thinking that it's better to start with something more easy!? And you no what: it doesn't matter where you begin! Many thanks to Mike for helping me in finding the correct way to paint. I hope everybody can enjoy and please have patience for what paint's will come.
So here we go: During 1998 and 2001 Iberia used 5 Boeing 737-400's operated by Air Europa. Except for EC-GBN, she was white for a few months, all aircraft where painted in Iberia colors and all were different from each other. That's what I learned when I started painting them, sadly. LOL. So that's why I had to paint 6 versions in total.
Happy Flights!

And here's the next one: Iberia also leased some 737-300's from 1988 till 1990 and one in 1999 (no colors) operated by Air Europa and Viva Air.

Awesome stuff, and welcome to the wonderful world of painting AI planes! If you ever need help or find that you can't locate a paintkit you need please reach out to me, I'm more than happy to help.
My only critiques of these paints is that the white shine layer (very visible in the yellow stripe of Iberia there) looks much too powerful. I usually turn that layer's opacity down to about 15-30% depending on how it looks.
Also, mind the position of the logo on the tail. No idea how Iberia actually did these aircraft so I'm not doubting that your paints might be accurate, but it does look clipped in a few of those paints.
Otherwise, this looks brilliant! Great choice of livery to start with and it looks awesome!!

Yes please, thank you for these! The Spanish airlines will be done for the 1998 project after you see the larger German and Nordic airlines completed, I look forward to seeing these in the sim!

Congrats on taking the plunge into the mad world of AI repainting, we, the painters, can surely use the help.... Very, very nice work, and kudos on the forward-thinking FSX/P3D format as well, I don't have to convert them, lol.

And Christian, if it's working correct, the repaints should be available in the google drive link underneath my posts.

And the next: KLM Fokker 100's. In 1985 the KLM wanted to replace it's DC-9's. The decision was made to order 10 Boeing 737-300's and 10 Fokker 100's. Due to production problems at the Fokker factory, the delivery was delayed by a year. By then (1989) the KLM didn't want the Fokkers anymore and the already deliverd aircraft were sold to the Apogee Finance Group. After just 2 years the 6 aircraft returned to KLM and they used them till 1998, when KLM uk took them into there fleet. There's one version from 1989 and the other one from 1998. I know there is already a AI-Aardvark KLM Fokker 100 1998 version 'flying around' somewhere, but I wanted this one to match the KLM uk (original KLM) colors. It's all KLM blue for the time being!
