I am in the final stretch of preparing the new site to go live in the next few weeks and I ave a couple of requests/concerns to address that will make the transition smoother:
1) Submissions - don't want 'em. Not until we go live, that is. There is a lot of work doing all these pages, with their style and use of graphics that I have enough of an order to just put up what is extant and the submissions already backlogged. Any more submissions just delay the launch date. When the new site is live, then, by all means, send in your new submissions.
2) Dead links - don't wanna hear about them. There will be some reorganization of the files and renaming in preparation for the launch, so some files may be temporarily unavailable since I am NOT making any changes to the old site to reflect this. Just bear with me, all the files will be available when he new site goes live.
3) Repaints - don't ask beyond the forum. I am not doing any until the site goes live and the listing pages will NOT be complete at the time we go live. This is because I have asked for contributions for this page and have only received a handful - without your help, this page will NOT be included in the worst case and of little help in the best. I do not have the time to go and look for every repaint out there, so please post your lists and we can include them, it would be most appreciated.
With your help nd understanding, this transition will go smoothly. Remember, this is a rebuild of the site, not an update. Don't expect things to be as they were - hopefully, you will find all the changes for the better, especially in ease of navigation. But, as with any site launch, there will be glitches and not everyone will be 100% satisfied. We welcome suggestions, but not complaints. I have poured a lot of work into this, and I know not everybody can be happy, but I hope the vast majority are.
