Looks plenty good enough, I don’t see anything glaringly wrong with those paints. Weird designs with a lot of complexity and little documentation is always the most annoying, but also the most vindicating to finish.

I don't feel quite vindicated, lol, but in the end, as I say, it's really just dynamic eye-candy (it's not perfect, and I don't care...)

I am working on SAA Airbus 4-holers today, just trying to tie into the current painting available at the usual places. I am doing some quick-and-dirty pre-Star Alliance for A342/343/346, and a couple of extra serials thrown in. I painted the FSPX A342 as one of my first FSPX projects, and I accidentally made all the serials Star Alliance. So, I am going back, tweaking the colors to match what I am doing now, and doing the pre-SA painting. This v2 of my A342 will have less serials (I did the whole fleet in the original) but more variety (more taste, less filling....).
Although SAA didn't get their own A330s until 2011, they operated three leased ones in the 2002-2004 time frame, and I will be doing those as well, 2x TAM, 1x BMI.
The B733F showed up in 2008 or so, and it has already been painted by Philippe or Juergen, so I'm not touching it.

Quite nice, will probably be using these for my 2003-2004 plans once I can get back to working on it.

Just uploaded the SAA Airbuses, including these.... The A319 is a no-frills pre-SA aircraft. The original batch of A320s all got leased out in the early 2000s, so these didn't make it to Star Alliance-land. SAA got another batch in the 2010s, and those are covered by other artists. I stumbled across something rare and wonderful while researching these, I might have another very odd screenshot by tonight or tomorrow. //////////////// Today's upload manifest: SAA South African Airways A30B x10, A30BF x2, A319 x1, A320 x4, A332 x3, A342 x2, A343 x2, A346 x4, B732 x6, B732F x4, B742 x10, B742F x3, B743 x8, B744 x14, B74L x8, B762 x4 TDX Tradewinds Airlines 742F x6 LAM Mocambique 74L x1 :{)

So, here is an oddity...... South African Airlines Cargo 1992-1994 fleet. This was not a happy relationship, with all sorts of issues of who would fly the aircraft, who would get the revenue, and the fact that a meters-to-feet error by some country's pilot almost caused an air disaster at one point. That being said, quite an eclectic addition to early 90s SAA and Jo-Burg. I had limited photos and used a little bit of artistic license, but the An-32s are fairly represented as-is. :{)

The An-32s have a very small SAA/SAL sticker on the port nose area, and the Il-76s are basic generic AFL stripe with no titles.

Cool history! I Had no idea about any of that, either.

That’s a real gem (the Russian freighters). Had no idea there were some operating with SAA stickers.
Massive thanks for the SAA package, it’s a beautiful and comprehensive collection and must have taken a huge amount of research and effort.

Any further progress with the 707/720 family? I feel like a lot of people forgot that was going on behind the curtain.
