That’d be great Mikey. I’d also appreciate F-BPVO in the 80s/90s colors too, as it operated into at least the mid 90s. I also remember seeing at least one plane with the tail reg backwards on the right side of the aircraft but I can’t remember which livery it is and haven’t been able to find the error sifting through some paints. I’ll try to find the error once I can.
I really do appreciate the willingness to fix the minor historical errors though, and yes, we all know of some stinkers in the payware scene who make blatantly wrong errors, and yet it still gets stocked on the shelves anyways.

Okay, here is a list of corrections for the BAW 741/742 service pack.....
-Black nose cap on all Negus (Red Tail) 741s, and on G-AWNB in Landor (new serial). Later Landor 741s didn't have the nose cap, and none of the 742s did, so I accidentally dodged a bullet there and didn't have to redo everything.
-Extended red zag on stripe on Landor to proper length for both 741/742
-Added G-AWNA in Landor (new serial), this aircraft served until 1998
-Changed G-AWNI from 1985 Landor to 1980 Negus scheme
So, you will have to remove the 1985 G-AWNI texture and entry for the 741, then copy the service pack into the folder/cfg file, and there you have it. I have written pretty clear and simple instructions in the documentation.
When I fxxx up, I don't do it half-way, lol, sorry for the cock-up on this one, but it should be good now.
The Noob and I have had several very positive and productive PM exchanges regarding this, in my world that's where we can tear each other's hearts out over authenticity, lol, not on the open forum.
Uploading now, should be available in a few hours at AVSIM.

it's more than you get from some payware products. You mean MOST if not ALL commercial products.

Hard to believe that UAL's 777-200 fleet is averaging 20 years in age, I will be releasing an FSPX package this week covering 1995-2005, which will cover painting up to the modern colors, taken care of by Juergen et al. It will be a mix of battleships, tulip tails, an SA logojet, and perhaps another fantasy logojet. Also, look for Continental and Continental Micronesia 747-100/200 in the next day, they're already uploaded

Unf, I always love Continental's jumbos, even with the later globe livery. Not sure why but that same livery under United is just hideous to me. Also can't wait to see those UAL 777s, some rainbow fantasy logojets would be much appreciated.

The UAL 777s just got uploaded, here is the paint manifest: 1995 Grey Scheme, World Tour with the big Boeing 777 titles 1995 Grey Scheme, -200 and -200ER, pre-Star Alliance 1999 Grey Scheme, -200 and -200ER, Star Alliance sticker 2005 Blue Scheme, -200 and -200ER, AND Star Alliance Logojet 1970 777 Friend Ship fantasy logojet 1985 Rainbow Stripe fantasy logojet A note about my COA 777 package: I forgot to include lightmaps, but they are generic for this model so it is a local fix. Go find the original release package textures for the PW Boeing House Colors, and copy the two lightmap textures into each of my COA paint folders, and there you have it. I have included the lightmaps with the UAL and all subsequent releases of this model. Next out will be BAW 744 and 777 in Landor colors, I will do the world tails at a later date.

Also can't wait to see those UAL 777s, some rainbow fantasy logojets would be much appreciated. I agree with this wholeheartedly, it was bad enough UAL gobbled up another old and established airline, but they stole the livery as well. I actually liked the 'blue tulip' livery as I call it, much better than the grey one. As for COA's last livery, I really didn't like it too much anyways, I came from the generation seeing "the proud bird with the golden tail" advertisements, and the 80s red meatball was the bomb, IMHO. My favorite airline was always NWA, since I have flown most on them, and I was sad to see USA get them, but not so sad to see AAL get USA a few years ago. Instant karma. Somebody mentioned SAA, that will be my first African stop when I get there, just finishing off Asia and the Middle East (IAC, ALK, PIA, RJA, TMA, MEA, and KAC). Most of these are less than five serials for each livery, so the production will go more quickly. PIA will take a little longer because of the tribal tails, I'm hand-drawing a couple of the patterns I don't have clear pix for.

USA getting NWA? You're thinking of DAL. AWE actually got USA in the mid 2000s but by some backwards logic decided to adopt USA's name and everything. Bad choice imo. SAA will certainly be welcomed though, and I'm probably the one who asked for it.

Yeah, you're right about DAL/NWA, I remember now.... It's all about branding, and USA wanted to keep theirs, but it worked out in the end for AAL Actually, AWE is my home town airline, a lot of sources say it was based in Las Vegas, but not so, although LV was one of the focus cities. AWE was home-based right here, the home of the 122-degree summer day, lol.

In the long-suffering saga of BAW 741/742 (the bad dream that won't go away), I found one last global error on the Landor paints. I had two old photos that didn't show the red fuselage stripe wrapping around the belly (it does), and the Royal Mail sticker only appears on the port side. So.... I have actually emailed AVSIM to have them pull all three files, the BAW 741/742base packs and the service pack, and I can re-release when all of the smoke clears. In compensation, I found all of the BCC aircraft which were painted in Landor colors, plus a couple of other odds and ends. The new paint run will include 742 GE and PW pax and combi variants in Landor. The Royal Mail sticker affects my Union Jack paints as well. If AVSIM won't pull my files, there will be a version 2 mulligan on the whole thing, and my apologies of course. They have pulled files twice before at my request. I guess I had it coming for awhile, I'm sure every painter hits an occasional tar pit, and this is mine. But, there is a light at the end of this tunnel and it isn't the train. I have almost completed the BAW 744s to include BAW Asia, also CKT and BCC are in progress, all stemming from this BAW nightmare. I don't do dropbox, but I am seriously considering doing my own webpage with cloud storage, in this manner I can update my cock-ups myself. To be quite honest, it's not inattention when I miss little things, but three concussions I have courtesy of military service over in the sandbox which are catching up to me. I stopped drinking last year, so I can't even blame it on alcohol, lol. It is what it is, and as long as the fans are understanding (and occasionally really forgiving), the hobby goes on quite well. I should have some more BAW uploaded tonight.

I should have some more BAW uploaded tonight. Awesome news! The people I am working with for the 1998 project are leery of Avsim for the issues you have run across since the BA release; the inability to update uploaded files. The way of the future seems to be painters starting their own pages. But it is a shame that you guys pay out of pocket for this, perhaps some entity would be willing to set up some kind of funding for the storage of all these files now that Avsim isn't used by many talented painters.
