Are there any good "old school" scenery files for KSFO airport? I have the CalClassic 1962 era that is fine and the up to date payware eye candy for present day flying, but anything involving KSFO from about 1970 till 2000 has eluded me. I lived there, even flew the SFO Helicopter over to KOAK once! Seems like everything out there has the "A" and "G" International Terminals mucking up the South Terminal. And forget about an accurate Central Terminal. Anyway, can anyone point me to a useable scenery for my "Mother Grinning Bird" flights?

Be patient, when the 1998 project doesn't take up my flight sim attention, SFO will eventually be finished in several eras including the 70s/80s/90s. It is already well underway, but shelved.

WAHOOOO!!!! That is the best news I have heard all year!!! Trust me, I probably want a 90s SFO more than you do! If some more flightplanners join the 1998 project, I'll put my focus on AFCADS/Scenery. 1998 SFO would have the International terminals under construction, but I would easily be able to backdate it. 1995 SFO is actually done as far as taxiways and most parking goes, just missing the terminals. The default terminals are misplaced compared to the real airport coordinates, and while some concourses look OK, some are blown up disproportionately and it'll be easier for me to just re-make them. Here is the teaser of this project on hold:

AWESOME!!! I had no idea that was in the works!
If you are OK with me borrowing some objects from you when I pick up this project again, I can much more quickly produce this 80s/90s SFO. If you are ever OK to host that scenery, I would really love having a 70s SFO as I'm sure many here would!
Another goodie in progress will be aircraft properly flying the circle to land runway 01R/L approach. I'll have the airplanes line up with the 28s, then fly a traffic pattern inside the hills ending with a curved Kai Tak-like turn to final. If possible, I will also work on getting 19 departures to turn left right after takeoff and right/left turns on departure from 01L/R.

Looks good! In the 70s, we used to fly BFL-SFO on UA 737-200s (or the occasional 727-100) and then connect to continue up to Canada (first to SFO-SEA-YVR-YXE, then later SFO-YYC-YXE) Good memories!! All those "Moonies" in SFO.

Cool stuff - it is definitely a must to have those features for bad weather days at SFO. As far as hosting the scenery, I can definitely get it ready for release - I just feel bad because only those who have purchased BOTH FlyTampa and Blueprint contemporary sceneries will be able to view it properly. I have messed around with GMAX before, and the time investment is just too huge for getting terminal-sized buildings done and textured. Meh.

I couldn't get the FlyTampa scenery to load any objects in P3Dv4 using model converter X. Flightbeam I have installed, though.
