Good day, all. Over the last few weeks I have been keeping myself entertained through a long period of poor health by creating AI for the mid-1980s to use as an optional alternative to my late 1960s set. I started off with the near-complete 1985 set found on this group and adding all the bits and pieces by combing through the flight plans section of the forum. I think what I now have is probably 90% complete (or more) and I am very grateful to everybody for their contributions. Onr thing I noticed was a significant lack of correct call-signs for that period - not only with the default FS2004 callsigns but also with EditVoicePack. Those who know me will know I am a bit of an "EVP" obsessive, and I have tried to fill all the gaps for all 1985 operaters covered by RAI. If you need any of these here is a direct link to my callsigns download page: www.adventure-unlimited.org/files/evp/airlines/index.phpThere are only 4807 to plough through there (ha!)* but you can easily find the ones you need with a Ctrl-F search for the name. Also, if 1960s plans are up your street, in the past I have created many from the 1967 OAG and other sources and they can be found at: www.adventure-unlimited.org/files/FP/index.phpPlease consider these as a "thank you" for all the wonderful resources found here. Help yourself and enjoy . . . Best regards, John * - the reason for the large number is not that they are ALL my own work but my site is now the authorised source of the official updates to EVP before the FS2004 version was withdrawn (along with its update files).

Happy new year to all, interesting plans, thank you for that. To realise them we would need a lot of new repaints, hopefully for FS2004.
Regards Werner

I don't think so, really. My target date of 1967 ia only five years after Tom Gibson's 1962 traffic at the Californian Classics and I was able to pick up most of the additional jets at Avsim and Flightsim.com (plus the other flight plans for the late 1960s). And now the 1969 set is available here, complete with aircraft, something I didn't have the benefit of when putting mine together.
I do admit to occasionally using "flyable" aircraft when nothing else is available. I don't find they have any noticable effect although I always change the textures to DXT3.
The biggest problem, aircraft-wise, seems to be the smaller operators, and that seems to be the case with my 1985 project too. Some are covered well whilst others (even some with Flight Plans found here) seem to have been completely missed.
Best regards,
John
