I'm beginning to update the pages with the tremendous backlog I have. I am also working on a site redesign, so this will take a while. I have a request from the painters, however - can one of you work up a montage of RAI aircraft for a new main page graphic? I don't need a huge picture, maybe 800x600 pixels. TIA!

Here's a taste of the redesign:  The right-hand box will contain a download link, I haven't come up with the custom graphic for that yet. There will also be a new page header for each decade. It's not going to be as time-consuming as I thought, but it will still take a while. |

Hi Kris. Is there a possibility, that I could line up my ca. 15 Flightplan Packs for the latest update? Because, they´re mostly done since July/August. They´ve been tested and are basically ready to go? If yes, then I´ll send ´em to you tomorow.  Also, what do you think of this?  I had a few minute´s so I thought: give it a try... Kind regards. -STEFAN-SUN_KING- Interesting conceot, but the new main page will be totally different than the original and it wouldn't work with the new format. I have been toying with the idea of using aircraft as backgrounds on some of the tables, so your idea could be adpated along those lines. I did a similar thing with the original "hangar" pages on the old Braniff International VA site. What I had in mind for the main page, though, is a montage of several planes from several regions and eras, representing all we offer. But, expanding upon your idea maybe we can add aircraft flying in the sky along with the Sunking DC-10 that cover a broad breath of eras and airlines - a whole sky filled with retro aircraft? I'll toy with it as well - that idea just came to me looking at your suggestion, it might look pretty good. OTOH, it might also look too cluttered...but let's play with it, see what anyone and everyone comes up with. |

Good news, looking forward to it. I hope your health hold up to the challenge. Paul I am 300% better than I was a few months ago - my last checkup revealed tremendous healing and regeneration. It's just maintaining this pattern that's of importance now, as I shouldn't be sidelined in the future for anything serious (knock on laptop plastic). My biggest obstacle today is just time. With my contract coming to an end, I have to find another job up here and a permanent place, then move everything up from OKC. |

Or if you want to include a period logo (if different from the modern one)? I have been trying to use period-accurate logos where available. The sample posted is obviously the 1970's page, and all those logos are of that era except for Aerolineas Argentinas, where no age was given for it. As long as they are the same width as the Aerosite logos, the period logos would be preferable, since we have quite a few more modern airlines that operated under different names in the past. Aeropostal/LAV comes to mind, for example. |
