Thanks, all! I just got back into Chicago this afternoon - left Oklahoma City yesterday and overnighted in St. Louis. My friend Fran bought me dinner tongight after I spent most of the day enjoying scenic I-55 between St. Louis and Chicago. I'll crack the cans, but you can drink them for me - my health precludes any more of that variety of celebration anymore. But good news is that I have vastly improved since the summer - one of the main reasons for my being back in OKC was for a check-in with the doctors.

Happy Birthday, my friend...may you be blessed with many more to come. Thanks - first one in Chicago! Sounds like I go home just in time to miss the snow and ice over the weekend and just before the round expected tonight. I'm glad the garage in the building is heated, but it is underground, so I hope I can get my car out - Jaguars do not like snow and ice. Better sign off and join the queue at Jewel since I have nothing in the house... |
