Dear all.
My project is getting along as it should, flightplan-wise.
As I am a catastrophic repainter and lack experience, skills and a graphics program, I wanted to ask here.
Now I am looking for a kind repainter, who would like to help adding missing paints - mostly one or two aircraft types, but fleets eg Africa or South America may also appear. In parts also for those new ai models from NAAI (707) or FAIB (in the FS9 resolution).
Any help is appreciated much and rewarded by the appreciation of the community and other users.
Kind regards.
Stefan

They don't do retro, as many unfortunately. On the other hand, my project is to be freeware and I planned it as a community project. And it is something everyone will benefit, who is interested in the 80s. Purchasing the data and compiling them was my investment into it and I am not going to make it payware due to additional costs - I'd rather scrap it altogether. I hope it is understandable, but then it is not worth it anymore. :/

They definitely do retro, good sir. You can still release everything as freeware. I do to keep the EULA's happy... along with everyone else. For example: Here are some new and old examples of what they are capable of. You mentioned the NAAI 707 - one screenshot shows about 10 or so.

How much do they charge to do a repaint? Nice quality. I didn't see a cost on their facebook page.

Roughly $10/per plane - but hit them at a good time, that price goes down. For example, they run several holiday deals and they have had two spring deals this year so far. (And just to clarify: This is not charging for something that is supposed to be free. You are essentially buying their time to produce a repaint for you. It is up to the "buyer" to release the paint publically or not. I do to keep things fresh and available for all to enjoy... Call it "philanthropy," if you will. )

So those are not yours? Didn't you consider Hapag Lloyd some months ago? Well, then I will have to ask them again. To me it was said: "no to this airline and no to that....!" Well, no one seems interested I guess. So be it.

Definitely give them a buzz... If you provide good quality pics of what you would like painted, they will take care of you. I just have a back-log of stuff to get done. Hapag-Lloyd is way back there, unfortunately... I'm sorry. :-(

I've sent them an email to a hotmail address I found for them. Is this the address you use? The price sounds reasonable. Thank you CGold for the tip.

So Hapag Lloyd is not going to be done? Not right right now but here in the future, it may. I want to get their fleet updated myself. I have several AIA's I would like to see FAIB'ed.
