Aviaco SU 1987 AI flight plans. Aviaco was established on February 18, 1948 to compliment the domestic network operated by Iberia. By 1965, a joint Aviaco-Iberia board was set up to coordinate aviation policies, which ensured that Aviaco and Iberia routes did not compete with each other. During the 1980s Iberia acquired a majority stake in Aviaco and the airline's technical, marketing and financial resources were transferred to Iberia. Aviaco ceased operations in 1998, with all of its aircraft repainted in Iberia's livery.

Thanks for sharing, Tom. There's a nice D9S at Avsim, "bbaviaco_dc_9_34_late1970s.zip". I'll paint the missing F27 during the next days.

I'll paint the missing F27 during the next days. Sounds good, Im currently using the paint available for the Mike Stone Model. If anyones interested as usual Ive put appropriate registrations into the plans. It was quite easy - I had lots of aircraft registrations left over too.

I think Aviaco always did a lot of charter business; perhaps that's where the extra planes were used.
