Here's a first batch of AFX files (FSX only), to have some default airports accomodate RAI-based traffic. The timeframe is the 1980s, but accuracy in any regard wasn't much of a goal. (Also, the amount of available reference material is rather low in the first place.) More info and download: sites.google.com/site/fsxstuffbybk/retroai/retro-afxRead the readme and watch out for duplicate AFX files! They can really ruin your day! There's no concept or plan what airports will be next. I usually tend to do those I am going to visit in FSX.

Some FS9 AFCAD files. These were made for specific sceneries (see readme). Included: KBNA (Nashville) KDAY (Dayton) KIND (Indianapolis) KMCI (Kansas City) KMSY (New Orleans) Download: docs.google.com/file/d/0B6K_xiE2GqmMVFBmbkEyTDFHU2M/edit?usp=sharing(Press CTRL+S or use "File"->"Download") Read the readme, watch for duplicates, yadda, yadda... I basically don't have to use FS9 anymore, so don't expect any more of these or much, if any, support.

Using FS9 sceneries in FSX is basically possible as long as you convert the AFCAD files as well. Airport Design Editor can do this for you; I have not tried it myself yet.
I deem porting AFX files to FS9 as not possible as FSX has fairly different default objects to FS9. You would see some runways, taxiways and aprons, but not many terminals, if any at all.

Update: SEA, SLC and GSO added.
Still working on KPIT's old terminal, but motivation is sporadic.

Update: SEA, SLC and GSO added. Still working on KPIT's old terminal, but motivation is sporadic. Speaking of GSO, are there any good sceneries for Greensboro for FS9? I've had a few good looks around Avsim and Flightsim and nothing looks good... All I've got is a ramshackle AFCAD in use.

Thanks-sO-Much, for bring back the wonderful memories on FS9/FSX. I've been simulating CS727 flights into these airports. It really makes a big difference using charts from JWH's Flickr Collection and historical Jeppesen charts purchased from EBAY. Thanks for creating these files.
