If converting OAG you pretty much have to use the MRAI compiler to figure out for you what planes should route where.
The for example you would build a file structured something like this:
US;1091;PHL;ATL;08:44;11:14;123456;734 US;1092;ATL;PHL;12:20;15:50;123456;734 US;1093;CLT;PHL;08:10;10:20;1234567;D9S US;1094;CLT;LGA...
And so on, the above is just randomly created... but when you are done MRAI's compiler will figure it all out for you to build the plans.

If you want to make a ai flightplan of early 90's USair i found a complete timetable on departedflights.com www.departedflights.com/US120292intro.htmlCheck that out! PS: I think it's easier to make a flightplan using Excel and then you save it as a CSV file. Joel.

Yes you put everything in an exel spread sheet then copy and paste into notepad. After that replace the open spaces with semi colons.

I find this is the best way to do this here is a line of data after you convert it into notepad. It is best to use the 24 hour clock no colon.
RJ;268;DTW;AMM;1745:0500;24;340
Airline,Departure City,Arrival City,Departure time,Arrival time,Days of operation,Aircraft
Send me the data you are trying to convert and I will be able to tell you where the error is. Also I sugest practicing with only a line or 2 of data until you get it down pat. My first plan was Royal Air Inter with only 2 planes until I got a grasp of what was going on as I kept doing larger and larger airlines as my understanding got better. On other thing is there is errors in some of the time zone data for Indian airports which will give you errors up the wazoo.
Keep the questions coming I will help as much as I can

Send me a couple lines of data from the time table you are using and I will type it up how it should look in notepad and you can compare. Remember the total number of flights must match excatley.

thanks for your time klm,. what i did was use peter's example in the previous post i took that top line us;1091 etc... and put it through this program called microsoft excel starter..which has a graph with letters going across the top and numbers going down...i enter each entry in the individual boxes across, hopefully that's a spreadsheet...then ..i go to the mrai compiler and try to find the what i just did..and it won't let me...listen i don't have a knack for this ..and i'm not embarressed to say that...i am grateful for your time...iv'e used your website for a long time and would love to be able to help out....scott

You have to move everything from the excel spreadsheet and put it in notepad before it will work.
