Hi Jafo.
Which flight plans are giving you problems as I thought we had sorted out the problems with them.
Please give me the list and I will check them out and repair them as necessary and send you the corrected ones.
Also its not a good idea to put your email address on the forum as could be used for spamming.

Hi KLM617.
Freedom was one of the ones that was fixed, can't remember about Wright.
I'll download them again tonight and check them out just in case the old files have been re-uploaded.

Hi Scott and KLM617.
I checked the Freedom flight plans out and they OK. But.........................
Chris does not have an Aircraft.txt file or an aircraft number with Freedom (and Sunair is the same I think) and they are just one text file.
Taking the Freedom plans you need to cut the airports out and save that at Airports .txt. Save the remaining Flightplans as Flightplans.txt and generate an aircraft.txt file.
That will be something like this.
AC#1,150,"Freedom CV580"
On the flight plans add the number to the AC# so that:-
AC#,N5811,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/02 etc etc becomes
AC#1,N5811,1%,WEEK,IFR,1/02.
This *should* now compile in TT tools.
Sunaire is exactly the same so use the same method.
I did not have time to check Wright last night so I'll do it tonight.
Scott.
You can edit your posting and remove your email address.
Both.
If you still can't get it to work I'll send you the "fixed" versions that I used to install on my system.

Paul,
If it's not too much to ask, send the correction to the RetroAI GMail account so I can update them on tne site. And speaking of e-mails, I echo your admonition about putting an address on a forum like this - spambots seek them out. One way around is to not use the @ symbol, that's what most spambots seek - an @ with a .com, .net or .org, If you want to offer your addy, I'd suggest doing what I do, post it like this: kristopherc AT cox DOT net - that foils the spambots.

Hi Chris,
Most people that create schedules for RetroAI go ahead and split the airports.txt file and flightplans.txt file out of the MRAI generated compiled file. Then an aircraft.txt file is created, using the suggested aircraft in the text file (which is also created). Finally, if the information is available, I add the registration numbers to the flight plans.
Hope this helps,

Hi Scott. Glad you got them to work in the end. PAUL/CHRIS,thanks for all the help got them to work, sorry it's taken me a while to get back on here, again thank you for your time. hey has anyone heard from sheppard, i haven't seen a retro plane come out from him, i hope everything is ok??? and what about ralf's nwao and pex 747, can't find them anymore?? The PEX 747 is in the PEX AI package on AVSIM. The AIA NW by Ralf is no longer available (he has pulled all his files from Avsim). Send me a PM and I will send you the NW 747, and if you can't find the PEX birds I'll send you those as well. Shep has moved recently so I guess hes not back on line yet. Paul
