Can someone help me get rid of this #*@% black line on the Calclassic CV-600 I'm trying to paint?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards...Duncan

Take a look at the PK.. I suspect that the fuselage textures are 1-2 pixels off and that's why there's a bleed through. Try to extend the forward and rear fuselage slightly by adding a narrow white line (match it to the fuselage white) where it currently ends extending them slightly... Hope it helps! Frank

Hi,
Take a one or two pixel strip from the aft part of the texture and paste it onto the opposite edge of the texture (i.e. the front of the plane). If the tip of the nose then changes to white or some other color, repaint those added pixels *but only right at the nose tip*.
The reason for this problem is that when mipmapping the textures, FS takes a few pixels from the *opposite edge* of the texture. If these pixels are very different, then you get that "stripe" across the fuselage.
Hope this helps,
