I have started painting the fleet for my Finnair 1982 flight plans. There is a nice Evolve AI DC10 at Avsim by George Widener, I will colourmatch the rest of the fleet to it. Here's the DC9-10 Edit: I allways wait at least one day before I upload a finished repaint. When I returned to it for the final checks today I disliked the windows and blinds. Here's the reworked plane:

Hi Ralf!
Great baby-niner!!! Thanks a lot! I just love those short DC-9s!!!
Before you put too much effort into the Finnair-fleet - have a look at these repaints available on avsim:
(1) dwai_dc862_ay.zip (2) aiadc94fingb.zip (3) ai_fokker27_finnair.zip
Kind regards!
Michael

Many thanks for the list of repaints, Michael, I'll have a look if they match. Here's another Baby-9'er, it can be spotted at the dirty side of some European airports.

The repaints by Jari look good, but they do not "colour- and window-match" Georg's and mine, so here's my '40. I'd like to have the same style DC9 fleet at least. Edit: I better mirror the logo before release.

Here's the "long DC9". Next will be something smaller and older...

LOL, I would have made them more dirty, but somesone at AIA thought that that "Killroy" and "wash-me" thing at the dirt/shadow layer would be funny. And to be honest, I was too lazy to make complete new dirt. ;D BTW, the "smaller" one is from France and does not have a paintkit yet.

I know this is just a little OT, but can anyone still tell me if Finnair still has that flight from KDTW to Helsinki to let the Yooper-Soumi Poikas & Suomenlinna's go back to the Homeland???

Well then it can only be the plane that made you high, OH-LSD ;D It, and a couple of its mates were still around in 1982. Paul

Hi Ralf.
Be careful otherwise you might disappear into "Finnair" ;D

Here's the "drugrunner" OH-LSD. ;D The blue stripe is a real "cheatline" and a solution for the shift between and pax windows. Many thanks to Paul for his research help.

Great repaint, Ralf!!!
Rumour has it this plane was unofficially christened "Lucy" by Finnair-crews who liked the Beatles hit "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"... ;D ;D ;D
