Mother Fokker that looks great.
I'm contemplating adding a 90's themed retro set of AI. This is helping the final decision along.

I've always liked the Midway look... The Red and White c/s looked better, in my opinion (which means nothing, I know... ;D), but the White/Yellow/Black c/s certainly looked more modern. I still need me some Midway "Mad-Dogs" and Diesel -9's in the older c/s... got some FP's, but no planes...

Just to clear something up and explain a couple of things here.
You guys are discussing 2 different airlines.
Midway Airlines(80's Airline, Red and white scheme) was founded in 1978, just prior to De-regulation, in fact some people consider it the first of the so called "De-Regulation Carriers". It was founded in an effort to try and bring Chicago's Midway Airport back to life, as it was becoming a Ghost town, with all the traffic transferring to O'Hare. It was advertised as a convenient, Low-Cost alternative to driving all the way out to O'Hare, and that it was only minutes from Downtown.
This airline operated from 1976 to 1991, in 1984 the Airline purchased the asets of the bankrupt Air Florida and expanded into the Caribbean. In 1990 they attempted to buy Eastern Airlines Philadelphia Hub, this put them in direct competition with USAir, coupled with the increase in Fuel Prices due to the Gulf War, they filed Chapter 11 in 1991, and tried to sell the airline to Northwest, the deal fell through and the company re-filed for Chapter 7 and ceased operations in November of 91.
Midway Metrolink, which flew from 1983 to 1985 was an experiment by this Midway at offering an All-Business Class layout, it utilized DC-9's and featured 2x2 seating.
Midway Express was the result of the Air Florida purchase. It utilized former Air Florida 737's and flew Air Florida's old Tourist routes and served 5 Florida Airports.
Now the Midway Airlines that 810E has painted was started in 1993 and based out of Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. It was started by a feeder company called Jet Express that served TWA and USAir. The airlines had a slow birthing process with several attempts at creating various service routes that failed to materialize. The airline finally moved to Raleih-Durham International Airport, at the same time as American Airlines were abandoning a Hub there. The airline begin having financial issues when the Dot Com Bubble burst in 2000-01, and coupled with invasion of Aouthwest Airlines into it's Hub, it filed for Chapter 11 on August 31, 2001, but it continued flying, up to and including the day of September 11th, 2001. Midway ceased operations on September 12th. Following a Cash infusion by the Government they resumed operations in December with their 737-700's. They then abruptly ceased operations and laid off all employees in March 2002, flights re-commenced in February 2003 as US Airways Express with limited flights, Operations finally ceased for good in October 2003.
Anyways, hopefully this short novel will clear things up.

Forgot to mention, the 2nd Midway, was originally, to be based in Chicago at Midway, but as I said, the early route attempts never materialized, and the company relocated to North Carolina.

Nice (short) history of Midway. When I was in college I did an internship at the original Midway, so those red and white planes will always have a special place for me.
I did get to fly on Midway 2, MDW to LGA, very nice. The flightplans I included are when they first started flying the MDW-LGA route.
