Hey there! I am just beginning to dabble in the AI flight planning area and LOVE your site! I am very interested in learning how to transfer timetables into flight plans and need to know just where to start. So far I have downloaded the MRAI compiler and MRAIgen files. Are they the right ones to use?? If so how do I go about transferring data? I've read to save data as notepad file..but how should it look?? Sorry so many Hope to have this down SOON! Thanks for any advice!! gAbe

Hello and welcome to the forums, I would advise you to have a look at the files in the mraic "Example Data" folder: The xls file spells out which information goes into which column. Once all of your flightplan data has been entered into the spreadsheet, you have to save it in .csv (comma separated values) format, rename it to .txt and feed it into mraic. As to how to extract data from an actual timetable, bear in mind that you only have to enter direct flights, which will greatly decrease the amount of data you have to process. Any further question, just ask Exit runway when able Christian

I guess you are doing all the hard work now, lol. If you are going to compile your data and get a list of inconsistencies don't give up, just ask. And do not forget to backup, backup, backup...

What I did was start with small plans until I understood how everything works. There is nothing more frustrating than entering in a bunch of data and not being able to get it to work.
