Help !
I submitted my first trial schedule [ Swissair 1966/67 ] for approval on 23 January, since when I have heard nothing neither have the schedules appeared on the download pages.
I now have quite a few other schedules complete and ready for submission but am obviously reluctant to do so if they are just going to disappear into cyberspace !
Hopefully someone can reassure me and explain what the problem is ?
Also - there seem to be some totally irrelevant postings appearing - those from "JAou" and "JqIf" for instance, which surely should be deleted pdq ?
Richard.

Hi,
Kris is a busy guy, and gets to the page updates as fast as he can. Hopefully he can confirm that he received your submission. I'm sure he'll be deleting the bogus posts too, when he gets back from wherever he is.
Hope this helps,

Yes, in another thread, I stated that I would be gone for some time, and would not be doing any updates until I returned home to Oklahoma City. That will be on the 21st of February, and I plan to do updates that following weekend. I did receive the submission, and it will be included in the next update. FWIW, I have not yet installed Dreamweaver on my new laptop (which is my only system right now and the source files for the pages are at home on my desktop), so I'm not able to do any updates, even if I had the time right now.
P.S> - Thanks for the heads-up on the spam posts, I haven't been able to do much maintenance until lately, but I have now deleted them.

I would encourage everyone also to upload their flighplans to avsim as well as retroai. I always do this. Usually I wait until I have three or four and then bundle the off to avsim. That way anyone can get them without having to depend on Kris having spare time to update the site.

Thanks for the replies - I'll get on with submitting some more plans asap then - may be a bit of a delay as am off to the sun for two weeks but I'll be back.
I note the point about also submitting to Avsim - which obviously makes sense but the only time I ever tried I failed totally - had to get a third party to submit them for me in the end - not a computer wizard, you'll understand.
You obviously have to be quick with the spam posts here - no sooner do you delete three but another appears !!

We've never had trouble with spam before that I remember. Regarding avsim, I've never had a problem uploading -- except once when I forget to include my e-mail address in the readme file. They do require that.
I look forward to you flightplans. We need more from the 1960s.

You obviously have to be quick with the spam posts here - no sooner do you delete three but another appears !! Unfortunately, it's hard to police the spam because of the gibberish names. As soon as I ban one gibberish name, the idiots show up with another. What makes this even funnier is that it's a Japanese post on an English forum, so few, if anybody, can actually read it. That indicates to me that it's really the work of a "'bot" - a robo-poster that spans across the domain, in this case proboards.com - hopefully, they can find a way to shut down this 'bot as more forum admins complain.
