Just a reminder that we still need a Thai DC-8-60 series for the early 1970's. Using the HJG model really slows down the FR at Bangkok!

If you're willing to give up upon a few framerates, a lot of them could be found over at HJG's website...

Whoops sorry Andy didn't read your post first! You CAN do somethings to reduce the hit a bit (!)
Remove all unnecessary textures (interior and the like) Remove the panel, and sounds and the like not needed for AI Convert the textures to DXT
That would save you some fps'
Good luck.

You don't "have to" use the HJG models to get DC-8s. I made AI specific DC-8 models. Available on my old community projects website, over at HTAI. DW

Thanks very much, Jason!!!
I always loved this livery - I remember seeing the "zebra DC-8" as a kid in Frankfurt in the late 1970s. Great to have "African Safari" in my AI-world now!!!
Kind regards!

I just checked the series-63 repaint in DXTBmp: It shows up fine.

klm:
tripple check your texture= line in the aircraft.cfg file and be sure that it matches the actual texture-folder name (without the "texture." of course) no trailing spaces or the like.....
