Now, would someone do a Metro and Beech 99. I'm not feeling up to it after four days in a Cincinnati hospital (you know, Cincinnati really is a decrepit excuse for a city...) while they tried to get my diabetes in check...don't think they did, so am flying back tonight to Chicago (NOT on United I am boycotting them because maybe they wouldn't have to lay off so many if they didn't spend all that money on some "consultant" to give them another "white whale" paint job with some new stripes and a stylized logo...,y cat could have done that for two bags of Pounce and a case of Fancy Feast...) to see my regular doctor at Rush-Oak Park. But at least I'll have laptop access there and don't have to rely on my Blackberry. Not everything from Canada sucks - hockey, the Blackberry...but Poutine? What Molson-loaded Canuck came up with the idea of gravy fries (which are a southern U.S. specialty) and putting cheese curds on them? (I'm joking, of course, it's really good after more than a few Molsons - which, sadly I can't touch anymore - at a Canadiens-Leafs game.)
