As I am working on this timetable there are a lot of 727 flights my first question is Flying Tigers did not aquire the 727-100F until well after that who opertaed the 727 flights in 1982 most are out of Chicago. My next question flights to Denver are operated with a DC9 and flights to Cincinnati are with CVR equipment who flew these routes for Flying Tigers, any help is appreciated.

I am going to speculate that it was Evergreen that operated the DC9 and 727 flights can anyone confirm or deny this. I have found a picture of a Evergreen DC9F at Denver in 1982. Still looking for the operator of the CVR from ORD to CVG

Hi.
I'm going to dig out and old 1982 JP from the loft. Hopefully this will answer the questions.

I did some research on this and here is a list of 'available' 727-100 freighters that could have operated this schedule.

I think the emery 727's are a good candidate, and they operated convairs too at the time! I agree that the DC-9 is probably an evergreen bird.
Best regards...Duncan

Some Ten-years later, this question is still important. Thanks, Duncan for helping Mrlogic setup 1980s B727 Freight Operators. Still trying to find FS2004/FSX Flying Tiger B727s/DC8s AI paint schemes.

I worked with a guy who was an ops manager for Tigers, but in the mid to late 80s. I will ask him.

Now we just need a half-decent KLCK scenery to go with this little project.
