Welcome back to the Chairman Emeritus! I believe you are right about those DC-10s, but I don' have them myself - I'm sure we can scare them up for you, though. Yes, the development has been amazing, I can barely keep up with it! The additions I have made to the staff have worked out so well - so many people just love having old AI and so the contributions have been incredible. The new site will be fantastic - we are bringing in sceneries, repaints, and voicepack mods. It's a slow process since I have to do it in my rare spare time, but it is worth it. Moving to Chicago last September kind of delayed things, but I am settled for now and working on finishing the updates and redesign. How have you been doing?

Hey Kris - been doing great. Been busy with work and my little 2.5 year old daughter. Recently I found some files of projects I started back when Henry and I were churning things out and I thought I would finish them up.
I am extremely impressed with the repaint efforts. That was always the problem.
I am still with FS2004 - I own FSX but refuse to tinker with it - it is a huge pig and I am not buying a new PC just to run FlightSim right now.

One of the benefits of my years with Dell is that I ended up with a beast of a desktop, but FSX is still a hog even on it. Forget about running it on my 1.7gb laptop with 1gb RAM - it sucks that dry. I have also been impressed by the repaints, and the quality just keeps getting better. I credit all the guys who have sent in work, and I was honored when an old FS hand like Paul Haak joined. My very first download when I got 'net access and FS98 a decade ago was his lime green Braniff 727. And I immediately stalled it out and plunged into Long Island Sound while taking off from La Guardia for DFW!
