I'm not sure if this is a technical issue or if I somehow got the wrong flies in my texture folder. I have carefully checked the title in the aircraft.cfg file and it matches that in my Northwest aircraft.txt folder used to compile the traffic.
I'm trying to use a Northwest Orient repaint of the AIA 747-200 PW model for my 1970's setup but it always shows up in Delta wigdet livery. If I view that aircraft from the aircraft menu it shows the NW livery in the preview window but if I select the aircraft it actually shows up in the Delta livery in FS9.
Anyone have any ideas?

This has happend to me before what I have done to correct the issue is delete both textures and both enterys in the aircraft.cfg page make sure all of the other aircraft show up as they are supose to and then re enter the textures from scratch. As a test I would set up anothe AIA 747-200 folder with only these 2 textures and see how it looks just to make sure there is no issues with the flightplans. But I corrected the problem by deleted everything I added and started over.

The odd thing is that I don't have the Delta in that folder.

Hi Andy Not trying to be a nitvit, but you are absolute certain that you haven't accidentally copied the wrong files into the right folder (or vice versa) You might take a look-see on the texture-files it self (you could use ImageTool for that) to be certain that is not just a simple mistake like that?

At this point I am not sure of anything at all! I'm not at that computer right now but I'll try both above suggestions and report back. Andy

I wish I had a solution to your problem Andy.
Perhaps you can help me out, though. Where did you find an AIA Delta 747?? I have searched and searched for a Delta Aardvark 747-100, and have never found one!

I'm afraid I don't have an AI Delta 747, either but your request led me to the root of my problem.
I had been using the flyable POSKY 747-200 Delta repaint in my AI plans (framerate hit tolerable because there are so few). But my problem was that the entry in my aircraft.cfg file for the Delta 747 was out of sequence, causing it to appear with a Northwest label. So it was actually a mislabeled Delta 747 that I was looking at!
But now I have a new problem. The textures I thought were for the AIA 747-200PW apparently are not compatible with that model. So now I am using a flyable POSKY 747-200 for my NW ai as well.
Does anybody have the textures for the AIA 747-200 in Northwest Orient 70's colors (silver, white and red livery)? Or any other AI repaint for that aircraft/livery?

I'm glad that my dilemna solved yours!
To get a Northwest Orient 747-200 repaint for the AIA model, try this on Avsim:
aia_nw_orient_742pw.zip
The repaint is by Paul Kurzman and is what I am currently using.
