I have entered all the data for Air India 1981, when compiling I get the error message about 20+ hour flights, even between Mumbai and Dheli. I searched the forums and found this. Problem: VABB|BOM|5,5|5,5|N19* 5.44'|E72* 51.99'|26 Solution: VABB|BOM|5.5|5.5|N19* 5.44'|E72* 51.99'|26 Too bad this one did not help, the errors remain whenever a flight goes to or from and Indian airport. Please help to make this one and the 742 fly again, many thanks in advance.

If you can send me the raw data I will play with it and see if I can figure it out.

Cool, thank you. I'll sent it from my notebook later, currently I'm at my office PC.

The "comma-to-dots" and "dots-to-commas" situation depends on Window's localization setup: a decimal is a comma in Europe and a dot in North America.
Remember that the timezones have changed in a surprising number of places since 1981
My advice is to check the time zones for your destinations. If you're lucky, the timezone values are indicated in your timetable. Otherwise, try and find someone who has an '81 International OAG.

Ralf, If you haven't already done so, try compiling with the daylight savings option both checked and un-checked. Some years certain countries observed daylight time some years they didn't.

Many thanks for all your help. I will check the timezones now, the timetable lists them. I tried both, standard and DST, no luck.

Looks as if I'm an idiot. The change "," "." works well, if the compiler is started new. Sorry for my ignorance. Edit: File submitted now.

I went through the whole compiler airport database with "find and replace" and replaced every "," with a "."
Time zones have changed but I admit that I usually don't spend much time trying to correct that. The resulting inaccuracies are relatively few and minor so I generally live with them.
Of course, FS9 does have many time zone inaccuracies built into it. There is a .bgl out there that fixes these and makes time zones accurate to the present.

Does that mean, that you´ll do the AB3 and 742 for your FP´s?

Hi. Does that mean, that you´ll do the AB3 and 742 for your FP´s? Regards. -STEFAN-SUN_KING- Sorry, no. The 81 schedule uses the 707-300 and the 747-200 (ai742aic.zip) at Avsim. Cargo (already released) uses DC8. Ralf

Hi. Me, too, am having problems with some India Flights. As I have to use a Internet Cafe and therefore can not see your replies immediately, I'll try out the ",""." solution and see what happens. Here is the problem: "Why do these give an error (ONLY Flt. #31) MH;31;MAA;PEN;12:40;18:30;7;D10 MH;31;PEN;KUL;19:30;20:15;7;D10 MH;31;MAA;PEN;12:40;18:30;4;AB3 MH;31;PEN;KUL;19:30;20:15;4;AB3 MH;32;KUL;MAA;10:00;11:00;4;AB3 MH;32;KUL;MAA;10:00;10:55;7;D10 Where else this do work with no problem? MH;30;PEN;MAA;17:10;17:50;2;AB3 MH;35;MAA;KUL;19:05;01:05;2;AB3 MH;36;KUL;MAA;20:50;21:50;36;AB3 MH;37;MAA;KUL;23:30;05:30;36;AB3" The Schedules were typed in correctly and have been checked and double checked. Still the probem appears. I don't know what to do about this and therefore hope for your help. Kind regards. -STEFAN-SUN_KING-
