Aloha leute,
Straight to the point - I've been thinking of creating freeware (obviously...), ready to install/apply to FS, classic AI traffic packages using existent AI models, repaints and flightplans, from various developers, but I only intend to focus on that era when the classic jetliners used to rule the skies - 1980s...or 1970s. It would be something like World Of AI (combining different bits and pieces from different developers to form ready to use AI traffic packages), only "my" traffic packages would emulate classic traffic instead of modern traffic, and would be far simpler, no installer or anything, only the aircraft and flightplans to be dropped to their corresponding FS folders. I might find the necessary models, and if I don't find all the necessary repaints, I've got someone who'll help me out with new repaints (I would gladly accept new painters in my team), but as for flightplans, of course I drop by retroAI. So here's my question:
Do I have the permission to use the flightplans available at RetroAI for such AI packages? These packages would basically consist of your flightplans, various freeware AI models from different developers who would give me permission to use their models, and the same goes for repaints. Of course, everyone gets proper credits. This would make it a lot easier for people wanting AI traffic for the 80s...or 70s, they no longer need to search for bits and pieces of traffic, they can get it ready to be deployed. If you need any extra info, please ask it.
PS: It's good to know, this project is not set in stone, I just want to see how it goes for now, if it even takes off, but I'd like to be able to pull this off...
Best Regards,
me
