Is there a cap on how many one can have in their scenery.cfg file? I seem to be re-inputting the same several sceneries recently and they somehow un-input their way back out of my scenery.cfg file. Anyone ever notice this?

For some reason, my FS9 folder in my C-Drive (where that scenery.cfg lives) was "read-only"... that may have something to do with it... X-/ Thank you for the help, good sir.

I think you can add about a thousand scenery entries in FS9 before it starts spitting entries back at you. I now use an aftermarket utility to add scenery and I havn't had any problems since.
Best regards.....Duncan

I found a good download at Avsim that straightened out my scenery.cfg file layer - apparently, they all have to be sequential and mine was far from it.

could you please post a filename for that AVSIM d/l you found? Mine scenery.cfg is also a non-sequential mess.
Thanks!

Surely... This I've been very happy with. Do the entries by hand (add entries directly to the scenery.cfg file itself using NotePad or WordPad) and run this afterwards - makes life a lot easier. library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=62903
