Nordair was swallowed up by Quebecair, which became Inter Canadien. All credits are due to Air Canada for its anti-competitive practices. (CanJet I got the same treatment, too...)

sorry folks, 744 got delayed because of GF activities today. Tomorrow hopefully. Also I searched around all the sources i have for a Nordair hybrid 737, no luck. The only thing i can find hybrid is the Ice Patrol L-188.
Also Nordair did merge into Quebecair, but the 737s never made it to Inter-Canadian, they were sold before that so that hybrid option is out. Inter-CDNs 737s were leased ex-Presidential, and i may do that but its low on the list.

Ok i got it worked out now. No there never was a Canadian/Nordair hybrid as far as i can tell. And the whole merger thing is... confusing. In 1985 Quebecair was sold by the Quebec government to Inter Quebec corp. which was a group of investors set up specifically for the purpose. Inter sold the QB 737s operations to Nordair, though as far as I can tell there was only 3 737s remaining. The remainder of the QB fleet (Metro, CV580, F.28, HS748 and Beech 99) operations were continued.
Nordair was merged into CPAir/Canadian Pacific in Jan, 1987, 2 months later the whole kit was merged into Canadian. At the time of the merger the remaining Nordair Metro turboprop operations were sold to Inter Quebec, who owned Quebecair, and who merged both operations into the new Inter-Canadien in May of 1987.
Of Nordair's 737s, several made it into the final Canadian Pacific/Pacifique colors, in fact the majority of the 737-200s so painted were ex-Nordair, which makes me believe they were all done quickly to eliminate the Nordair brand. I count 11 that made it to Canadian, 5 of them confirmed in the CanPacific/que blue scheme (NDC NDR, NDS, NAP, NAH) 1 confirmed all white (NAQ), that leaves 5 (NDL, NDM, NDU, QBB and QBH) that could maybe of been hybrids, but there is no info about it. They may of been leased out at the time of the mergers so would of been repainted before entering service with Canadian, one of the missing 5 was C-GQBH, which was photographed in Jan 87 in basic QB colors with ND stickers, then not until 1992 in CDN colors. The other ex-QB bird QBB has no online photos between 86 and 95 when it's in full Canadian livery also. That leaves C-GNDL (91, CDN), NDM (late 80s CDN) and NDU (93, CDN). C-GNDG was returned to TEA in early 87.
QB's QBC, QBD and QBQ seem to of been sold prior or at the merger with ND. Some of the registrations were re-used on QB F.28s. Safety cards i know were mixed up for a bit of time, I flew Canadian in 87 YYC-YYJ-YYC, to YYJ was an ex-CP 732, with Canadian and Canadian Pacific/Pacifique cards in the seat pockets (the plane still had the Multimark logo on the forward bulkhead), YYJ-YYC was ex-PWA, with a mix of PW and Canadian cards, so it's very possible Nordair cards were still around in 1987.
The Ice Patrol L-188 were an exception, they most definitely were hybrids, 1 (C-FNDZ) was sold still in basic Nd colors in 1990, one (C-FNAY) eventually got painted in full Canadian colors with the red slash over the forward fuse and "Canada" titles on one side.

Are we releasing these repaints all together? Or are they already out there and are really well-hidden? Because these are great looking! I just started programming in Canadi<n Airlines FP's - but they are only modifications to the Canadi-Asia FP's already out there...
