Regarding the gap in African Classic's: there is no proper South African Airlines SAA fleet, neither from the 1970's nor from the 1980's until now available. It'd be great, if someone could consider doing them and gives it a try.
Kind regards.

I have done the SAA 707, it was to be uploaded last week, but I missed the file. I will upload it this week, not sure which other aircraft SAA used besides 707, 732, and 742 (last two already available). Also, I will do the 747SP. Let me know of any other fleet needs.
Regards, Mike P.

Hi.
Well, SAA used in the:
1970´s: Airbus A300b4-200, Boeing 707-300, Boeing 737-200, Boeing 747-200/+M, Boeing 747SP, HS748 1980´s: Airbus A300b4-200, Boeing 737-200, Boeing 747-200/+M, Boeing 747SP, 747-300, HS748
That´s all I remember. Maybe someone knows additional Aircraft.
It´d be great, if this paints could be released. Then I could do SAA 1987 - before ZS-SAS crashed into the Indian Ocean. Kind regards.

I have just finished retro (70s-80s) fleet repaints for the following airlines:
Royal Air Maroc (722, 732, 707-328C, 707-351C, 742 Combi)
Air Algerie (A300B4, 722, 732, 707-320C)
Tunisair (A300B4, 722, 732)
Wardair Canada (742, A300B4, A310), the DC-10 is already on AVSIM
Air Canada 1980s (DC855, DC863, 741, 742, 722, DC930, L-1011-100, L-1011-500, 762 )
Somali Airlines (707, F-27)
TAAG Angola (L-1011-500, 707-320C, Il-62); the rest of this fleet is on AVSM from various authors.
South African 707-320C, I re-did this one to color-match the existing ones out there on AVSIM (732, 742); and I have the A300B4 and 747SP on deck for tomorrow.
All paints will be posted to AVSIM within the next 72 hours.
.....and I am knocking out the heavies for CAAC (742, 747SP, 762, 752, 732, 733, 707, Tu154, Il-62); just trying to get a matched set.
All A300 paints are with the new Fruit Stand model, 757s with the Alpha India model, and 762s are with the AI Malcontent model, just trying to use the cutting edge stuff.
More soon, Mike Pearson.
BTW, email me at tj_ap97@msn.com, and i will send screenshots of any of these before I post, I can't figure out how to attach pix to this forum thread.

I'm afraid i won't be releasing CAAC...
I just suffered to total HD crash on the drive holding those files (like head crash, the drive is toast)
I lost CAAC completly except the Tu154, Wings Airways, updates for Eastern and a few other bits and pieces...

For CAAC we will also need an M80,310,146,DHT and SH6 if it is possible to do these. Peter is it possible to redo these if Mike is not going to do these 5 aircraft.

I have the following CAAC aircraft posted to AVSIM: 703, 742 Combi, 74SP, 762, 752, Tu-154, Il-62. I am working on the rest now: A310, B146, 732, 733, md82, 722 (sub for Trident, don't know of AI Trident) I need clarification on some of the other abbreviations: SD6 - Shorts DHT - (Dehavilland Twin Otter?) Let me know..... Mike P.

Rest, nope, I have partially completed 747, 74L, 313 but they aren't releasable, ill see if i can fix them up but dont hold any breaths over it.
