Does anyone know where I could find this Cessna 402?

You can download the basic model from Henry's site and then repaint it yourself, if you can't find it anywhere.

Yes; my painting is worse than my kids, so I don't think that would be an issue.... I got the model thank you :-)

I've seeked high and low, but don't seem to be able to find any... I will continue though.
I've basically only got the info from the flightplan in the 70'ies archive.....

I'd relly like to paint it because I like the small bird and the routing of this one, but we need at least one picture...

Yes, and I can see now that it has been seeked before ;-) ... "The mystery aircraft!" - "The Hidden plane" - "The twilight of Cessnas" ....

There are a couple of pics of Seaco aircraft on a.net, but they're from 2005. www.airliners.net/open.file/0833768/M/[hope]The c/s looks conservative, though so it may not have changed too much from '79[/hope]

This is another seaco.....
The original seaco was originated in Detroit, Michigan, and the two registrations related to them was:
N7809Q and N87176 Both Cessna 402's
The seaco found on A.NET is a Beech an registered in Spain.... But I got fooled with that one too :-)

Well, one thing about many of these small commuters is the lack of a distinctive paint scheme. Some of the smallest operations simply added titles to a factory scheme. There could be some homogenization, such as the use of all blue stripes or all red - but the emphasis for many of these carriers was frugality, so only a few had really memorable paint schemes on such small planes. Some of the larger companies, like PBA, has a fleet standard scheme different from any factory scheme on planes from the 404 up to the YS-11. With an airline like SEACO, you could probably get away with just adding the titles to a factory scheme. I did that with K.C. Piper, a very small commuter that was connected to a Piper dealership and offered flights from Johnson County Executive Airport in Olathe, KS. They operated from suburban Johnson County across the Kansas City metro area to the new and distant Kansas City International in the early 1970's. There aren't any such flights today that I know of - the building of the "beltline" freeway around the city made KMCI much more accessible from JoCo that the flights couldn't keep up. But, for K.C. Piper, I just used a factory-painted Navajo with "K.C. Piper Sales" titles added.

Bump! I wanted to make a little contribution to the retro ai community by making some missing repaint . I stumbled upon this thread, googled and found a lonely photo of the SEACO Cessna:
The photo is good but the livery is partly obscured by the tiptank and the engine. Keeping that in mind, I made an "artist's impression": I sampled the color, the logo and the airline name from the SEACO schedule leaflet. I couldn't use as much bucket fill as on the real model because in some places the texture became warped and ugly. Aside from that, I hope it's a worthy reproduction. What do you think?
