The short answer is no, the texture structures are totally different. Now, that's not saying that if you're highly adept at texture editing and resizing, you might be able to make them work, but I seriously doubt they will look very good once you're done, due to the distortions you will get in resizing. The HJG birds have numerous, highly-detailed textures for every square inch of the plane, the DWAI birds usually have one texture for the whole of the plane - that's to save on the framerate hit.
Travelsonic (too lazy to login: With FS2020 coming out in 6 days, I can't help but wonder what this will mean for the Retro AI community - in terms of bringing retro AI to FS2020, legacy support for FS9/X, etc.

chasensfo: FS2020 TECHNICALLY can take AI from other platforms(P3Dv4\5), however, just like FS2002-P3Dv3 models needed lots of conversion to work in P3Dv4 and it took years to get this many working, same will go for FS2020 as they don't use .mdl files.
